Healing from Disordered Eating can lead to an improvement in health and wellbeing

What do you love most about your job?

Supporting people to move away from dieting, and negative thinking, and instead learn an alternative way of thinking, feeling and behaving positively towards food, weight and our body.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have worked with people affected by Eating Disorders and other eating / weight difficulties for 10 years. I have trained with some of the leading experts nationally, and internationally and more recently I worked for 3 1/2 years as a Clinical Specialist in Eating Disorders in the NHS.

I started my part time Private Practice in 2013, and in 2017 made the decision to focus my energy on developing my business reaching out to people to offer an alternative to weight loss and dieting, and instead focus on developing a positive relationship with food, weight, our body and ourselves.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am highly trained and specialist in my field. I am non-judgemental about peoples' weight / size and invite people of all sizes to work with me. I am committed to demonstrating an alternative way of thinking about our weight, shape, size and relationship with food and our body.

I continue to train, learn and develop as a Practitioner ensuring that my service is of a high standard.

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and additionally, have undertaken 4 years in Postgraduate Psychotherapy Training, working towards BACP Accreditation (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

I offer face to face appointments at a comfortable and peaceful clinic in Cheshire, and I work with via Skype / Vsee with clients outside of this area.

I work Full Time with my business, and this enables me to focus my energy on service development and contact with clients.

I offer appointments M – F, 10am – 8pm (last appointment in clinic and by Vsee 7pm), with the occasional weekend appointment upon request.
