What do you love most about your job?

It is great to meet new people and help existing customers, getting a better understanding of an individual’s anatomical function and biomechanical situation.

If any injury has been acquired, I like getting to know what type of injury is being presented; whether it is an Acute (short-term) or Chronic (long-term) issue, how the injury presents itself, when the threat of injury is likely to occur or reoccur (signs and symptoms), in order to put in an appropriate course of action to prevent further injury.

I have an extensive BA Sport & Fitness Studies degree background, coaching qualifications through the association of the Rugby Football Union and the English Football Association, and love finding out new and innovative ways to improve performance levels in order to reduce the risk of injury within a working capacity, rehabilitation processes or across multiple sports.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am a very customer focused individual, who is honest and delivers impartial information across areas of Health, Fitness, Injury Rehabilitation and improving Performance levels. This may involve working with different types of people; from office-based / manual workers, people with impairments, those recovering from injury or with chronic conditions through to working with elite sports people / Paralympic athletes.

I deliver innovative sports massage techniques using recognised Physiotherapy & Sports Massage techniques, assessments and muscle testing procedures, providing expert analysis, problem solving through to delivering effective treatment as well as home care solutions. I am passionate and enthusiastic about sports massage, looking at ways of developing new massage techniques, providing the best in service excellence, enabling me to build long lasting relationships with my customers.

I currently work as the lead Soft Tissue, Sports Massage and Rehabilitation Therapist at the Water Lane Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Clinic, a private clinical practice based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. I am also based at the Manchester Institute of Health & Performance, located next to Manchester City’s training ground, and work with a number of professional athletes and am also working with members of GB Taekwondo at their H/Q in Manchester.
