Hendon CKD opened in February 2003 under the ownership of Master Jason Wright, 6th Degree Black Belt Chief Instructor of Choi Kwang Do Martial Art International. Since it’s opening, the school has always focused solely on it’s students developing their Health, Discipline, Social, Mental and Physical capabilities in a co-operative, non-competitive, stress free environment. Allowing the students the opportunity to build not only on Martial Arts and Self Defence capabilities, but also on their transferable skills: Leadership, Communication and Assertiveness. In January 2010, Master Wright appointed Mr Dean Stuart Ali as the new school owner. The school has since rebranded to Hendon Martial Arts Academy with a keen focus on Personal Development, Optimum Health and Practical Self Defence. From Thursday 3rd September 2015, our classes will run from a new venue: Broadfields Primary School, Roseberry Drive, Edgware, Middlesex HA8 8JP. Our Team of Instructors strongly believe in the students they teach, aiming to train each student equally and help them achieve their goals.
