After the initial chat to find about the needs of the client, we would arrange a visit to the property, this lasts for approximately an hour.
This is a free service where I find out a little more about the client and needs.
After this I will write up the notes from the meeting and this will form the brief to which we will follow, once sent to the client and agreed.
We will then make any amendments and send over a cost for the design scheme
We ask for the design fee to be paid up front
We will need to go back to the property to take a site survey and photographs where needed.
Once we have monies and signed agreement we will start on the work.
Clients will receive design in form of presentation and sample boards
If the client requires our building package this will be discussed and appointments made for the builder etc to come and have a look at the work needed
We will then request a quote and pass onto the client
Once all agreed we will implement the work.
According to the works the time scale will be allocated
Once all works are completed we will go around for snagging and sign off with clients
If agreeable photographer will come take photos of finished project.

I absolutely love helping people, I have the vision to see how the project is going to look like when finished and get so excited when I go into a new project as there are so many options available. I love getting to know the clients and their style and implementing it into their homes to create a unique feel for them. I love the organising of the trades and seeing the project done to the end. What I truly love about interior design is the fact that you can create anything and its amazing to see how a well designed house can make all the difference to a family. I am passionate about design and my favourite part is to mix old with new, it is so diverse, but equally seeing the faces of the clients when the project is finished and they are delighted with the result.
I just didn't know any different, I like a challenge and no one said that I couldn't or that it would be hard. I have done some many exciting things and I am trained as a teacher, so I teach and write courses online, so for me it just fitted in with my life and not being told what to do really!!!
If clients want a caring, and passionate designer, then they should choose me, once you employ me to be your designer, I have so many contacts that I have gathered over the years, I can pretty much sort anything out, and I will. As I said I love the challenge of helping others and getting things done. I am very honest and I will not let anyone down, I am very good at communicating and will give good honest, reliable advice. If I don't know something, I will find out. I believe if you employ me it is my responsibility to take the stress away from you, to let me deal with it.
