Creating Spaces for Better Living Inspiration can be found everywhere, from a beautiful landscape, a striking building or even a favourite scarf. However, you might be finding it difficult to translate this inspiration into a physical solution for your home - this is where I can help! My style preferences are classic and transitional, using traditional shapes and designs, but with a touch of the unexpected. I love Georgian architecture, symmetry and period details; mixing these principles with modern touches for comfort and practicality. Wherever possible, I will incorporate existing furnishings into a new design, upcycling and repurposing treasured items is a great way to avoid clogging up landfills and it is great to be able to incorporate something that was destined for the tip! We are committed to delivering designs that are as eco-friendly as possible - from upcycling and incorporating existing furnishings, using sustainable products where possible, and building links with suppliers who share our values. 2020 was a year in which we all realised, more than ever before, the importance of home and the huge part it plays in how you feel, how you live and increasingly, how you work. I have always believed that decisions you make for your home should be driven by your feelings, needs and tastes, instead of being dictated by passing trends. Fashions come and go, but I want your home to feel tailored to you; a beautiful space you will love for years to come. I believe good design should be accessible and affordable to all - our Initial Telephone Consultation is FREE and design services start from just £70 + VAT*. * Initial telephone or video consultation FREE. Charge of £70 + VAT payable in advance for first site visit.

What’s your interior design process?

Initial telephone/video conversation (free) to determine the scope and style of the design work, followed by a face to face meeting to gather information for the production of mood boards. Depending on the level of design help needed, this may then be developed into a full and final design, and further onto sourcing of furniture, fittings & equipment (FF&E), and Project Management.

Which interior design styles can you cater for?

My style preferences are classic and transitional, using traditional shapes and designs, but with a touch of the unexpected. I love Georgian architecture, symmetry and period details; mixing these principles with modern touches for comfort and practicality. That being said, I also like designing contemporary and modern spaces - wouldn't life be boring if we all had the same taste?!

What do you love most about your job?

Seeing the possibilities when I look at a space or room, and bringing those ideas to life.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I've been designing spaces for years, often on miniscule budgets, but never charged anyone! The pandemic gave me the impetus to get my qualification, which in turn gave me the confidence to make the leap to a career in professional interior design.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Clients encouraged to opt for digital mood/concept boards. Visits carried out using masks and hand sanitiser. Twice weekly testing, and now vaccinated.
