The Squad House is a multifunctional venue featuring two separate spaces. 1. The bar space is approx 5m x 10m x 4m with a fully functional bar - seating with or without tables (max capacity 40 theatre style) which flows out into a beautiful original corridor of a stunningly preserved Grade II listed Victorian mill. This space features bespoke lighting and theatre themed decor with a contemporary 'speak easy' feel. 2. The main space is 7m x 10m x 4m and can be configured in numerous ways. There is a modular staging system comprising forty 75cm x 75cm x 45cm interlocking blocks with a 2cm thick varnished birch top. A black or dark grey Harlequin dance floor over the top is optional. Capacity is dependent upon layout but with the full stage erected and with technicians in the room, we can accommodate 60-80 depending on the layout. When the room is empty we can accommodate any number up to 100 depending on the layout. There is a full theatre lighting rig at one end of the main room (This is subject to extra hire costs) We can provide a background music system foc or a full DIY DJ system with disco lighting for £85, an HD projector, 3m wide by 4m high cinema screen (housed in an electronic motorised casing on the ceiling at one end), furniture and individualised decoration/theme. We have housed: pantomimes, plays, cabaret nights, fashion shows, naming days, birthday parties, a high school prom, band nights, quiz nights, film screenings, training days and much more. The space is only restricted by it's size and your imagination! A gorgeous Peaky Blinders / 1920s style venue with a theatrical theme and speakeasy feel. Our capacity is 100, we have 2 rooms - the bar area and the multifunctional main space.
