We absolutely love taking Teddy for his walks, and after deciding to have a change of direction career wise, we decided to set up our own dog walking business. The Dog Walker not only arranges dog walks but we also do home pet visits (including our "Puppy Pop-ins") and also small pet care, emergency "let-out" service and also our Pet Taxi service.

I cannot stress how brilliant these two (Roger and Becky) are with our cocker spaniel Winston. They have been a lifesaver this week after I realised last minute that I had no one to walk him for the week. I messaged them telling them our situation and they arranged to come round and meet him straight away...he was on his first walk with them the following day and loved it! The dogs have proper exercise and are so genuinely cared about and loved. They go the extra mile with them and are so observant and genuinely care about the wellbeing of your animal. For example, Winston pulled a muscle in his leg so couldn't go on his walk Friday, they have text us each day asking how he is recovering and sending their well wishes! We are so happy with how helpful they have been this week and are so glad that Winston is being looked after while we are out! So thanks so much for his first week of walks Roger and Becky you've been amazing

The best part of the job is two-fold, firstly working with animals is always enjoyable and I have always loved to be in their company. I also love knowing that keeping peoples animals fit and healthy has a beneficial effect on the health of their owners. The second aspect is the bonus of getting to be out in the great outdoors with the dogs that I walk. I am passionate about our national parks and outdoor spaces for the positive impact on our environment and overall health. We are very lucky in Great Britain to have such wonderful expanses of free to access countryside and wild areas and it is a privilege to be out in them every week.
It is something I had been considering for some time. My personal circumstances changed and I wanted to make the most of that change, so I set up Peak Dog Walking. This allowed me to follow my interests in animals and the great outdoors. Starting my own business also allowed me maintain a control on how the business is to be run and to choose specific aspects such as the number of dogs to be walked at any one time to make sure that all the animals can receive the focus and attention that they deserve and maximise their well being.
I am honest and provide personal reliable service. I have been DBS checked and have a LANTRA accredited qualification in pet sitting and dog walking including pet first aid. My service is professional and you will be provided with appropriate documentation and service agreements to assure you of my approach to the care of your pet. When walking dogs I always try to vary the location as I find this provides the dog with more mental stimulation than following the same old routes.
I provide a free home consultation and bookings cannot be confirmed until this has taken place in order that you can get to know me and I can meet your pet in their home surroundings and find out everything I need to know. My number one concern is your pets's welfare and I will treat your pet as it it were my own.
