When I first booked Dog Tails I was almost at my wits end as a first time dog mom, I didn't have a clue what I was doing and Maxine was amazing. She reassured us in every way possible from the very beginning, that things were how they're supposed to be. Training was 100% amazing. Answering any questions, queries or worries we had. Maxine was great at teaching us, making sure we were comfortable with everything that we had learnt, so we could continue this between lessons. My pup learnt immediately, new things at every training session. Maxine was loving, calm, friendly and incredible at training. Being given recommendations for products that we now couldn't live without as well as an email breakdown of our lessons with what we can practice, in messaging and video format was just the extra mile we never expected but most definitely needed. We would highly recommend to anybody. Thank you for absolutely everything you have done for us, not only as a family but for my lovable Labrador too, who absolutely adored you at every very fun and enjoyable session. ❤

Our qualified Trainer was handpicked by legendary Clinical Animal Behaviourist, Sarah Whitehead (BA, MSc), to join her team of Licensed Trainers under her Clever Dog Company Method in 2016. Amy has since progressed to become a certified #SuperDogs Instructor with the School of Canine Science and is able to train dogs to become assistance dogs by teaching them special helper tasks.

It has been a great experience for me and my dog to work with Pride in Pets/Pride in Progress dog training. I cannot rate them highly enough. Amy, the dog trainer has really helped Lewis [my rescue dog] with his separation anxiety and his recall. Her patience, kindness and encouragement has made so much difference to our lives. I now have a dog who is happy and relaxed on his own for around 2 hours, and his recall has improved too. Thank you so much Amy and PIP! You are all brilliant!

We have regularly been using The Pet Care People‘s dog walking service for our 1 year German shepherd for easily the last 6 months. Our pup warmed to Joules as soon as we met & absolutely adores her. Joules is fantastic with her, even though she is very much a bouncy puppy and can be a bit of a handful still! She helps with some training along the way for no extra, and always offers advice even on training or general care if we need it. I’d 100% recommend The Pet Care People to anyone looking for any pet services.

We asked Keith for help when after lockdown our dog became very fear reactive with new people coming into the house and moving around him, and at pubs/restaurants especially waiters! Keith was super knowledgable and gave us lots of help both in person sessions and via email. Over the course or around a month and a half we have been able to take him to a busy pub today with not one reaction towards any person which is amazing! Training is ongoing and Keith was able to recommend some group training sessions for us to take Arlo to. Thank you! Can’t recommend enough

The 1-2-1 training is conducted in the comfort of your own home, garden and local area, the sessions are tailored to your dogs specific needs. The first few months that you have your new puppy are so crucial, its so important to set out the house rules and to give your dog basic obedience training and to also socialise them correctly.

Anne has been incredible leading the way for me to train our puppy Buddy. Her expertise and friendliness (not to mention her enthusiasm and passion) instantly made us feel at ease and has no doubt set our cocker spaniel up for a happy and well behaved future. Invaluable experience that you will not regret! Thank you Anne 😊

We’re not your everyday dog trainer. We’re very different to your average expectation of dog training and how it’s run and we pride ourselves on being different and bucking the norm. Our programmes are for all dog families who want to dramatically improve their dogs behaviour or to get their puppy off to a great start in life, by acquiring the skillset needed and knowledge required to teach dogs using force free methods and by truly understanding the dog in front of them.

Jo was absolutely fantastic. From the moment she met our dog, Millie (who does not take to strangers even walking past our home, let alone being in it), she was very calm and professional and within a minute had Millie's full attention.
We struggled with Millie at the door and Jo taught us how to train her so that we could allow people into the home without being greeted by a loud, fast paced dog. Jo's teaching is very easy to follow and she has a variety of techniques and ideas if certain ideas do not work for you.
MyDogsTrainer was born through a frustration in the quality of dog training on offer in the UK. The market is saturated with one to one trainers offering home or local park based, hour long sessions that really do not gain long lasting results. The work achieved in that hours training, often only once a week is quickly forgotten, or undone without daily repetition resulting in a frustrated owner and a lack of long lasting results.

Polly-Anna was a great trainer. She kept us up to date throughout our pups stay. Helped us understand where we had previously been going wrong and provided us with tips and advice. The kennel itself was great caring for our pup really well even when he was a bit poorly they communicated with us throughout and really looked after him. Our pup seemed like he had a great time there and really liked all the staff. Thank you for all your help!

I asked for Dans help with Ted (my 18 month old Cockapoo ) that isn’t keen on children.
After one session with Dan he gave me all the tips and taught me to recognise the change in behaviour which is the trigger for Ted to react to children negatively.
I was so nervous beforehand ( like taking an exam while the headmaster is watching ) but Dan was so friendly and not condescending whatsoever .
His relaxed approach made the 2 hour session surprisingly enjoyable in the end 😁
We spent most of the session actually out walking with Ted putting all the tips in to practice rather than sat in house talking about it.
And I am noticing changes already.
Thanks Dan
Qualified canine behaviour consultant and dog trainer Hey there! My name is Chloe, I have a degree in animal behaviour and psychology along with various canine behaviour, welfare and training qualifications, and dogs are my greatest passion in life! I'm a force free trainer, this means I do not use aversive, punishment-based methods that hurt, threaten or intimidate your dog. Such methods have been scientifically proven to increase anxiety and aggression in dogs, this is the last thing I want for you or your furry friend!
Trevor Curtis
We were amazed at the results even after only one session. We have asked Chloe to come back several times and we are very happy about the improvements made, Chloe really knows her stuff she is brilliant. She not only has genuine compassion for the dogs that she looks after, she also has a genuine understanding for the issues faced by her clients. Chloe has a maturity way beyond her very early years. A unique and extraordinary young lady. We would recommend employing Chloe, it would be money well spent. A couple of weeks on and I are still shocked how instant the changes were. After the initial 2 hour visits our dog (Lady) was responding immediately and positively to the new rules. It really is changing our lives for the better and we have a much more calm and content dog. Chloe came across as very experienced and our dog immediately responded to her so we were reassured straight away. With a very anxious dog (that we had 'rescued' and knew so little about and we were struggling with but Chloe taught us simple but very effective methods to us). We would thoroughly recommend Chloe to anyone

Murphy was scared of the vets and generally a little OTT. Things are now going really well - amazing Zoe! Thank you for coming over and giving very sensible, practical advice. Murph now sits patiently on the mat by the back door while I get my shoes on, coat on and lead out. He also sits by my side while I open the back door and waits for my say so before he leaps out the door! Much more controlled, calmer behaviour. He is walking on the lead much better too. He was always good on the way home, but always tugged on the way out. Now no tugs on the lead! Haven't quite made it to the vets yet, but we are working on it! Now working on tricks on his mat in prep for the vets. Sit, down and look in his ears etc. I have even let him sniff the vets step most times we walk past. Onwards and upwards! Murphy is a lovely dog and a few issues had become huge, whereas they were easily correctable.

Amy is fantastic at what she does and I could not recommend anyone better. i rescued a dog with severe anxiety issues due to previous abuse and neglect, and Amy has worked with us for a while now. he was petrified of every single sound or movement, and has never experienced and urban environment before. i have had some basic training in canine anxiety but still learned so much from Amy, she is patient, understanding, and has a unique ability to be able to explain things from the dog's perspective. i am extremely grateful, as due to her expertise, and the ability to help me truly see things from my dog's perspective, i now have the skills i need to make my dog feel happy and safe. while he still has a way to go yet, the change in him over the last 3 mths has been miraculous and its all thanks to Amy.
Excellent quality training plans instructions and videos to work alongside your training needs. Kindness and positivity. Currently not holding group classes .
