I've provided services to many principle contractors who thank me for my hard work but inform me they won't be using the facilities management firm I was working for (subcontracting to) again because of their poor management and failing to meet agreed time scales. These customers encouraged me to go my own way, in order that I can still quote for services for their upcoming jobs. Working on my own I can ensure a consistent high quality service delivery, every time. I intend to grow my business over time with trusted, hard working decorators like myself.

There are many average and below average decorators out there, most are simply 'painters' at best, but deceive the public by calling themselves a decorator to inflate their prices. I am qualified (not self-taught) and reputable with valid references and a decent portfolio to date. I will continue my self-development by completing additional courses and qualifications along the way. I am driven by QUALITY, not greedy profits. If/where my prices are higher its due to me committing more time to the preparation stage to ensure that higher quality finish, and likely using better quality materials, thus it's not for higher profits. Beware of paying less and expecting an exceptional finish.
We work as a team of two, so we only have to be responsible for our own personal hygiene, we currently live together so essentially are within our own 'bubble' as they say, which helps with following social distancing rules etc. We can often work in different rooms to the client or other tradesmen etc. We use hand sanitiser regularly, and wear a face mask when required. My work often requires the use of ventilation so with the customers consent I open windows and doors which helps circulate fresh air. Privately we follow all government restrictions and ensure we have minimal contact with other people, often opting to shop for groceries online rather than in store. We do as much as is physically and reasonably possible to ensure we are safe to work and can deliver on our commitments.
