I really enjoy the transformation, stepping back and seeing the results and knowing it's my work. I enjoy the moment when you show the work to the client and seeing their reaction! Obviously, I enjoy working with my hands, I like the variety, the different little challenges I find myself coming up against and also, the conversations. I get to have cups of tea with really fascinating people!
Admittedly, it was slightly accidental! I'd love to be able to do my work by teleporting a hologram to the job, but until that's invented, I actually have to turn up!
I communicate and ask how the client feels and what their stance is on Covid, if they have any concerns around health matters and if they'd be more comfortable with distancing, masks, sanitising and measures like that to ensure they're comfortable.
