PA Counselling & Psychotherapy

Greater Manchester

Hi my name is Puja I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor based in Manchester, Salford. PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL IF YOU WISH FOR ME TO CONTACT YOU AT p•••••@••••.com I specialise in both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Humanistic Therapy. I believe that every person should integrate the 3 C's for their mental health, Choice, Chance & Change. This means 'You must make the Choice, to take the Chance, if you want anything in life to Change'. I provide Counselling from the age's of 10-60+. No mental heath issue is too BIG or too SMALL. Everyone deserves their chance to improve their mental health. PA Counselling & Psychotherapy was created to help people with mental health issues. I came up with this company name by using my name and what i wanted to help people with. I started this company because i know what it feels like not being heard with mental health issues, such as anxiety, stress and etc. i also started the company because there is no issue too big or too small to come through my doors. i want everyone to know that their voice is heard and i can help in anyway i can. i chose to use CBT and humanistic therapy in my counselling session with my clients because the clients emotion, health and wellbeing is just as important as the issue the client is bringing therefor i am putting the client first as well as the issue they have brought to me. I currently only provide online counselling as i am relocating offices.

What do you love most about your job?

What i love most about my job is helping people with their mental health. Mental health is something that should not be rushed. I love having a therapeutic relationship with my client so we can work together to help with issue they have brought to me.

What inspired you to start your own business?

What inspired me to start my own business is looking at the NHS and how they don't see it as a vital issue and how waiting lists can be up to 1 year long. No one should be waiting that long to see a therapist and starting my own business lets me put my clients first and see them as early as i possibly can.

Why should our clients choose you?

Clients should choose me because, i believe that everyone should have the chance to talk about how they feel, what is going on in their life and to just open up when they feel comfortable. Counselling is not something that should be rushed and i go by the pace of the client. I use CBT and Humanistic therapy. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a type of talking treatment which focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect your feelings and behaviour, and teaches you coping skills for dealing with different problems. It combines cognitive therapy (examining the things you think) and behaviour therapy (examining the things you do). Humanistic therapy is a positive approach to psychotherapy that focuses on a person’s individual nature, Humanistic therapy looks at the whole person, not only from the therapist’s view but from the viewpoint of individuals observing their own behaviour. The emphasis is on a person’s positive traits and behaviors, and the ability to use their personal instincts to find wisdom, growth, healing, and fulfillment within themselves.
