I started seeing Anne Mette during a period when my anxiety and insomnia were intensifying to the point where I felt utterly helpless. Evenings filled me with dread, and I struggled with a sense of isolation, worrying that this might become my new norm. However, after our initial session, I felt a sense of peace and hope, and I started to believe in the possibility of reclaiming control over my life. I continued with both in-person and online sessions, and throughout, I found a sanctuary in Anne Mette's presence, where I could openly discuss my concerns. Her guidance and the tools she shared have equipped me to confront and manage my anxiety, enabling me to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience. While occasional bouts of anxiety still arise, I've successfully employed the strategies she has taught me, allowing me to handle these moments independently. I also know that she is there if I ever needed more guidance and help.

There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root. ~Henry David Thoreau Hello ladies! What are the negative effects you are seeing in your life? How aware are you of the root cause? If you're interested in seeking to heal from the heart - not just trying to treat the symptoms - this is for you. Us women should never have to feel alone, afraid, and not knowing what to do or where to start.
I am a certified and accredited psychotherapist, life and relationships coach and clinical trauma specialist. I use lots of tools including talk therapy to help you explore your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental safe space.,
As a coach, the approach I take is based primarily on the client's needs and circumstances. Some require help with a specific challenge; some feel stuck in repetitive patterns they want to change; others want a framework in which they can develop their understanding and perspective of the world and their place in it. In all cases I offer support and encouragement, and find ways to identify and build on each person's unique strengths.

Through coaching, Rob has helped me a lot with my professional work and general overall confidence. I am a lot closer to reaching some big- dream goals with his help and guidance. His particular skill is to provide practical tools for overcoming mental or creative blocks. Rob also encourages greater self-awareness around negative mental patterns which can often halt progress. I highly recommend!

I was a true disbeliever of the power of Therapy, I wouldn't consider myself as having loads of problems or deep rooted ones, but in the same way exercise is a good way to keep you body ins shape therapy has been a good way to keep my mind in shape. Luke is the first therapist I've ever seen and the experience with him has been truly life changing for me. Understanding myself more as well as being able to apply the learnings in order to better my life. Which it has done. 10/10, A* , 5 Star would recommend.

I contacted Siamak twelve weeks ago regarding alcohol addiction. I did not know how to stop. I was desperate and felt I was falling into an abyss. Siamak helped me arrest that fall and has, through the weeks, truly set me in the road of recovery. We’ve looked at precursors to my drinking and have examined beliefs, attitudes and behaviours that no longer fit. I feel confident going forward that I now have the knowledge and skills to grow & thrive as I deserve to. As a therapist Siamak is undoubtedly highly knowledgeable, thoughtful and incisive but to talk to he is also a kind, loving, human being and I owe him a great debt of gratitude.

It has been a pleasure working with Beverly and I have eagerly awaited our sessions each week. I find the sessions to be a safe space and an opportunity to discuss issues at hand with new insights and learn strategies to manage personal challenges. I feel I have the potential to develop myself thanks to Beverly, I can already see I am stronger than I was at the start of the sessions and i strive to remain this way. Beverly’s observations and expertise shines through and helps makes sense of painful and confusing situations. I would highly recommend Beverly to anyone seeking help with anything.

London
My name is Dave Clogg and I am a MBACP qualified independent counsellor. I offer one to one counselling and run therapeutic groups with associate counsellors and psychotherapists in central London. Counselling is a powerful space that can support you through difficult periods in life and help you to understand more clearly, why you may be feeling unhappy, stuck or at a loss of what to do and unsure how to move on. Counselling is for anyone who has reached a point with a particular issue or problem in life where they have tried several ‘strategies’ but found no lasting relief. It aims to analyse the issue(s), and what may be consciously, or more significantly unconsciously causing this, by providing you with a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space in which to explore your unique issue(s), alongside a witness and a trained qualified professional. CounSoul focuses on an individual’s inner suffering, meaning that which comes from the struggle from within us emotionally and psychologically as we journey through life and its various stages and transitions. I offer a space for you to examine your life, and to do the work you need to in order to help you live the life you wish to live. The ‘Soul’ in CounSoul. The human ‘Soul’ as a concept, is the central business of therapy. It is that which transcends the five senses of how we experience the world. It is concerned with experiences which stay in the memory and impact on the heart. It is more about the journey through life and less about the specific details or labels we and others choose to put on this. It is the experience we hold in our memory and body which forms our experiences as we travel through life, which impacts on us in many different ways. Every human has a ‘story’, which is influenced by our early experiences in life, which form central core beliefs. If we do not give attention to the ‘soul’ within our story it suffers as we begin over time to lose our sense of purpose, our longings and our self, and often that which we are lead to believe brings us happiness, simply doesn’t fulfil us on a deeper level, so counselling can help in revisioning your story, and viewing your life from a different perspective, by helping you to see where you neglect your own sense of well-being and get caught in outdated behaviours to compensate for this.
How I work
During sessions, I practice according to three main principles:
• Non-judgemental - I work with a client’s reality, accepting them as they are and without judgement or prejudice, supporting them toward as journey of self-acceptance.
• Empathic - I provide clients with a space to express complex or difficult emotions. People often need to be heard and acknowledged before they can understand what might be holding them back or keeping them caught in an unhealthy cycle.
• Empowering - I work with clients to realise the best version of themselves, offering authentic connection, supporting you to realise and manifest your own potential. Authentic empowerment means having the ability to feel safe in your vulnerability, and knowing and accepting your limitations, as well as realising your strengths and developing your relationships.
My practice is best described as relational counselling. It is a non-directive form of therapy, which acknowledges that you are the expert on your life and that I do not claim to have any answers that you cannot find from within yourself. However, it can be helpful to be supported in finding these answers or a path which is where therapy plays a part. My part is to listen, accept and assist in enabling you to gain increased awareness of yourself, your environment and the implications of the choices you make, leading you a more meaningful and fulfilling life. My method relies heavily on a collaboration, with me acting as a guide for you to explore what you need to.
