In order to enhance my practice, I participate in regular continuing professional development (CPD).I support clients to facilitate change, overcome distress and look at old patterns of behaviour. The sessions provided will enable you to think differently about your life and help you to alleviate your issues. I will listen to you without judgement in a valuing and accepting environment. It is an opportunity for us to build a relationship based on trust and I will support you. Together we will work to find solutions to improve your emotional wellbeing and problems of life issues. What do you love most about your job?

I have a strong desire to help others and to assist people with the challenges of daily living, because I have natural ability to empathise with people, Because I think I would be good at it. I love to help people, I believe I am right for the Counselling field. I feel that connecting with people and helping them through the tough times is making me feel well.

What inspired you to start your own business?

It’s amazing when you’re starting a private practice in counseling. Running your own private practice gives you the freedom to choose who you work with and how often, and can be quite enjoyable. In addition, my work week will likely be less than 30 hours which leaves a lot of time for family, friends and self-care activities.
