When people visit my site it is usually because they are going through a very difficult time in their lives and are feeling a real need to get the right kind of help and support. People seek help when their thoughts and feelings become difficult to manage, which can often result in feeling overwhelmed. You may be feeling confused about a situation or you may be struggling to make sense of things.

I found that Tolis is someone who is calm and accepting, no matter what you are struggling with. He helped me better understand my patterns of thinking, feeling and relating to other people which I had learnt through life but which were now getting in the way. I felt that Tolis was attuned with me and he had the ability to help me get to the root of the issues quickly, with insights and actions that I could into everyday life. I would say it is really helpful to share what is working or not working in sessions, and I felt like Tolis always viewed our work as a collaborative effort.

From the very first phone call I felt at ease and already started opening up on why I was seeking counselling. The environment is very relaxed and talking to Anne was very easy and within now 3 weeks we've worked through a few problems of mine and we put actions in place to help dealing with my frustrations and already seeing results and feeling happy. I really do recommend having a chat with her.

I found Peter by chance on Bark when I realised my relationship
with my son had broken as I thought beyond repair.
I had engaged other counsellors in the part few years and they were just a listening service. Peters approach was unique to me.
He was not full of sympathy but made me look at myself and what part I was playing in the relation and its breakdown.
I learnt a lot about myself and my reactive behaviour .
I was forced to have a long hard look at myself.
Over several weeks he told me if I wanted the relationship
to change I needed to change.
My son and I are now talking, we have some way to go but I now have the tools to deal with it.
Thank you Peter.

Counselling is good for you if you need support in hard times: losses, break-ups, dramatic changes, etc.
Susana
It was my first time doing therapy and Luisa helped me so much. It was like a journey through my life analising lots of feelings, emotions, reactions that were making me feel I wasn't myself anymore. She's very empathetic and she allowed me to direct the session in the way I was feeling more comfortable with. Definitely a great experience.

There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root. ~Henry David Thoreau Hello ladies! What are the negative effects you are seeing in your life? How aware are you of the root cause? If you're interested in seeking to heal from the heart - not just trying to treat the symptoms - this is for you. Us women should never have to feel alone, afraid, and not knowing what to do or where to start.

As a coach, the approach I take is based primarily on the client's needs and circumstances. Some require help with a specific challenge; some feel stuck in repetitive patterns they want to change; others want a framework in which they can develop their understanding and perspective of the world and their place in it. In all cases I offer support and encouragement, and find ways to identify and build on each person's unique strengths.

One of the things I enjoyed most in Jim's coaching was his ability to draw diverse strands of information or topics together, offering me a richer perspective within which to move forward. I particularly appreciated his written reflections afterwards, which inspired me to take action from a positive place.

I have been working with Holly for almost a year and have really loved working with her. Over the past year Holly has worked with me to help re-wire my thinking processes and helped me work through some really difficult times. I look forward to continuing to work with Holly and it’s really great to have a safe space where I feel listened to and that my feelings are valid. I highly recommend anyone to work with Holly, Holly will help you work through areas you didn’t even realise where a problem to begin with. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed attending sessions, however hard they may be and can’t wait to progress on my healing journey with her.
I did psychology at university so have always had an interest in the human brain. I decided very early on that I want to help people with their mental health, so completed the necessary training to become BACP accredited (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). It can be a tough job at times, but also very rewarding as I help my clients through what can be troubling times in their lives.
A lot of my work is focused around relationship counselling nowadays. However, I do have clients that use my Cognitive Behavioural Therapy services to improve their general mental health. The majority of my work is in personal or couples therapy rather than group sessions. I feel it provides a far more personalised approach to their issues.
I opened my practice five years ago after a career at some of the more established counselling services in London (including the NHS). As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, I’m able to offer both counselling and psychotherapy, although they are often interlinked.
