I provide a confidential and supportive space for you to bring any problems you are having, explore difficult thoughts and feelings, and consider ways forward. I work with clients long or short-term, with individuals and couples, and in a collaborative, flexible way that meets your particular needs. I have particular experience working working with issues around gender and sexuality, with LGBTQ and gender diverse clients, and with clients who practice non-monogamy, polyamory, BDSM, and other non-traditional relationships.

Brilliant little therapy hub in Brighton. I can't speak for the other therapists working there, but mine has been nothing but brilliant, and the hub itself is a lovely mix of functional and yet welcoming. There's also coffee and tea (including herbal and decaf - yay!) available. My only slight criticisms are that it's a little hidden from the outside - perhaps a bigger sign outside might be a good idea for newbies trying to find it? I certainly got lost on my first time! Oh, and as a fan of bright colours, I would love some brighter decor. To be fair though, florescent yellow walls are probably not what most people want when exploring their deepest, darkest thoughts... Each to their own!

My aim is to give you the time and space to talk these issues through. I focus on the person and what they want to achieve through therapy rather than look for a diagnosis. I can help you to explore your emotions, create new insights, facilitate change in your life, and break troubling thought or behaviour patterns. In a nutshell, my personal therapeutic approach is pragmatic, compassionate, and individually-tailored.

I wasn't too sure about starting therapy, but talking on the phone initially really helped to give me the confidence to give it a go. Tara really made me feel at ease when talking about things that were quite personal to me, and really helped me to think about my worries from a different point of view. I would recommend her as a therapist!

I believe that the most powerful way to heal is to talk and most importantly to be heard. When this is done without judgement the results are guaranteed. I am a firm believer that a nudge rather than a shove creates the correct shift.A nudge is a small choice and action or language that moves us onto a particular path or direction with far reaching effects. We will explore the why, what, how and when to help us create these changes in direction.
