Le Petit Garden is a Do-It-Yourself gardening studio on Melrose Avenue and we host on-location events, too! Every guest makes their own potting mix and leaves with a boxed, potted plant! Our gardening workshop is hands-on, fun and educational. We guide you step-by-step, explaining the different 'ingredients' in your soil 'recipe'. Here are your options: $15/person - "Petit" succulent Pot an adorable 2" succulent in a "Petit" pot - perfect for parties with guests in attendance from near or a far. Workshop includes the small planter (available in a variety of styles and colors), 1x 2" succulent (your guests will choose from many varieties), and an educational, step-by-step gardening session making our 'le Désert' ("the desert") potting mix to replicate the succulent's natural habitat! Learn about the different varieties of succulents, the conditions they thrive under, and how they actually benefit ecosystems experiencing drought. $25/person - succulent garden Pot a succulent garden in a beautiful low bowl. Workshop includes low bowl (available in white or light blue), 3x 2" succulents (your guests will choose from many varieties), and an educational, step-by-step gardening session making our 'le Désert' ("the desert") potting mix to replicate the succulent's native habitat. Learn about the different varieties of succulents, the conditions they thrive under, and how they actually benefit ecosystems experiencing drought. $20/person - air-purifying plant Pot a Pothos plant - a highly rated, air purifying houseplant. The Pothos plant is proven to remove indoor air toxins, such as benzene, formaldehyde, and xylene. Pothos also thrive in indirect light, so no matter what kind of natural light your guest's home or office receives, they can still enjoy a lush foliage plant. Workshop includes the planter (available in a variety of styles and colors), 1x 4" Pothos (your guests will choose from several varieties, like Snow Queen, Jade, Neon, and Satin), and an educational, step-by-step gardening session making our 'la Forêt' ("the forest") potting mix to replicate the Pothos' native habitat! The Le Petit Garden experience is the perfect activity for a housewarming event, bridal shower, wedding, baby shower, corporate event, or birthday party! Add a topping - like jade pebble or green moss - for decoration and to help with water retention for $3/person. Add accessories - like dragons ($10 each) or butterflies ($2.50 each) - for children's parties! We sincerely hope to garden with your group! Our on-location fee is $200 or book our studio for your event for the same price. If our workshop isn't what you're looking for currently, we still encourage you to come in & garden! Walk-ins are welcome. We only require reservations for groups of 8 or more. We're open Sunday through Friday, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. (closed Saturdays).
