a professional

What do you love most about your job?

I am a technology enthusiast and have been working with computers privately since I was old enough to take them apart.

I find working with technology rewarding and fulfilling and love to solve problems for people.

Professionally, I have been responsible for and successfully run IT Departments and complex, critical Business Systems for large organisations and in corporate environments.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have always wanted to work for myself and create a legacy I can proud of. With the current Covid-19 pandemic, I have been presented with an opportunity to try and make a difference.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am thorough, careful and considerate. With many years of professional experience, and a lifetime of running my own private solutions, I am capable and well-versed in providing support for PC and laptop users.

I personally run on a private network (LAN):
- personal computers
- laptops
- Network Attached Storage server (NAS) for file sharing and backup (TrueNAS 12)
- File Sharing
- NextCloud instance for local, personal cloud solution
- Reverse-proxy server
- PlexMedia server
- VMWare ESXi server as a private lab and data backup

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I can provide remote support where physical intervention is not required. Unfortunately many repair situations will require physical access. If the PC / laptop is accessible and can connect to the internet, and the issue doesn't specifically require or interrupts internet access, I should be able to remotely support.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

With members of the business needing to shield, the Business will follow all government safety guidelines, and where possible, would prefer to support you remotely.

If physical repairs are required, I can take possession of the device, repair it remotely, and return it once repaired.

Otherwise, I will attempt repairs on-site, outside the premises, in a safe, accessible location.

I will always wear required PPE including gloves, and face-mask.
