Great atmosphere, can get packed when cricket finishes. Good choice of ales and lagers. Great beer garden that gets the sun. Have eaten there in the past and nothing to complain about. Staff friendly. They show the odd match in there on TVs and screen. Dog friendly. Restaurant on two levels so lots of room but you do need to book as gets very busy.

We are an event catering company specialising in high quality food, sourcing local products wherever possible and cooking them simply and presenting them beautifully. Our highly trained team will cater for over 80 weddings each year, each one being unique to us and the attention to detail that we give to our brides and grooms is second to none. When pricing any event, we offer a price per head which includes all of the china, the equipment, the waiting staff and chefs, the first class cutlery and table linen. so there are no hidden extras with our price and this enables our clients to budget very effectively. Well, we dont really have one particular dish. When it comes to weddings, we offer all sorts of things which perhaps other companies do not. We love doing Carve your Own to the table, with tall chefs hats, over sized joints of succulent sirloin, or juicy pink legs of lamb, we often provide a fantastic bbq either served to the table or buffet style for the more informal wedding and we have a monster sized paella pan for that evening snack which is a little bit different. Have we ever refused to do a particular dish - NO - not if that is what our client wants.
We sit down with our clients hopefully face to face, but if not via email if they arent in the area. We would ask for their favourite dishes, or style of food and then make suggestions. Of course we have sample menus too, but these are as a guide and we would never insist that someone chose from those menus. They are a good starting point. Our website is also a great tool for us, there are some great photographs on the website, which are of our food, and taken at actual events.
I love providing a great service and fantastic food for all of my clients. I love getting the thank you cards after the event and knowing that we have made a significant impact on the events where we cater, whether that is an exclusive dinner party, or a wedding for 150 or a Ball for 500. We are lucky in that we meet some delightful people and no two events are the same.
I love being my own boss, but I am only as successful as the team I have behind me. Over the years that team has grown both in experience and in ability and now nothing phases us. We train our waiting staff to be efficient and invisible and we have a great pool of people who we can call on when the Summer season is upon us and the world is getting married. I am a control freak and the organisational skills which are required to cater and manage an event successfully is what inspires me.
Myself and the rest of the team are passionate about food and about making each and every event we cater for, the best it can possibly be. Our attitude and flexibility is second to none and we always do our best. Our food and its testimonials speak for themselves and we take pride in everything we do.
