Chris and Tina took the trouble to come to our office to discuss our requirements and gave us some free samples before we had even placed our lunch order.Both the food and the customer service is excellent. We have two people food allergies, one gluten and one with a severe nut allergy and this was catered for. They use a wide range of different breads, wraps and fillings which were delicious as were the gluten free brownies and sausage rolls. The delivery man was also very smartly dressed.

Sarah catered for a small BBQ we held to celebrate our Golden Wedding. I can honestly say that there was not any aspect that I could criticise. The attention to detail was great, including a pre visit to discuss menus, site etc. The food was lovely and the presence of Rebecca to serve drinks was an extra bonus. Everybody enjoyed themselves. I have never held such a relaxed party and am now trying to think of an excuse for another. If you book Sarah you wont regret it and she will help you to have a day to remember.

A lovely old style pub with a clean and pleasant character to it, as It has been very well renovated in recent years. They have a very varied menu, with some slightly different variations on old favourites. The prices are very reasonable (not cheap) and the portions are fairly generous, with maybe the Eton mess being an exception to this. Everything we had was delicious, but everything we saw almost gave us food envy. They have several very nice real ales, some lovely wines, and a good selection of other drinks on offer. Nor can I recommend them highly enough. Simply sublime food, fab (seriously absolutely tip top) service, good banter, and cocktails or a jolly good wine list if you're in the mood. I've taken a few of my clients there for lunch and they all rave about it. So much so that they're now finding an excuse to come spend a LOT more time in my office.

We picked West View Lodge as being close enough to Carfest South for us to attend the whole weekend. And what a treasure!! My daughter and her family stayed in one of the Lodges, while my son had a single room in the Self-Catering main house, and I had a double. Soooooooo comfortable; squishy pillows, snuggley duvet - slept like a log. Loved the shower room, too. Breakfast was ad hoc - help yourself to the range of cereals, tea and coffee, fruit. We bought eggs and bacon, and my son enjoyed cooking us a fine repast. Other guests are in and out too, so there is a lovely homely, social feel. Debra and Steve keep the place looking great, and our well behaved dog was as welcome as we were.
