I work in an integrative way which means I don't use a "one size fits all" approach - I work very much with the individual, accommodating their specific needs and offering an unjudged, safe space, building rapport and trust to enable change and healing to come about.

What do you love most about your job?

I love the privilege and humility of being able to support people who are currently struggling and suffering, and watching them, over time, flourish and evolve from someone who is in pain, to someone who then has processed that pain and gained the tools to flourish, thrive and embrace life again, like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis and being set free. It is a beautiful and rewarding transition and it can happen to you too!

What inspired you to start your own business?

A journey of my own pain, suffering, hurt and disappointment - once you have truly experienced that depth of pain and hit rock bottom yourself, you can genuinely empathise and walk alongside someone else who is currently there, and give them the hope and tools for their own healing.

Why should our clients choose you?

I offer a safe, empathic, unjudged space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I will not force you to talk about anything you are not ready to, but will be there alongside you, to sit with you, as you process and unpick whatever has brought you to my counselling room in the first place. I will offer tools and techniques, if appropriate, to enable you to feel in control of your life again, to manage and cope as you move forwards with hope.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

During Covid-19, to keep everyone safe, I am working remotely. This has been proved to be equally as beneficial and therapeutic as working face to face. It also opens up wider opportunities for a good therapeutic match, to enable healing to happen, without having to take travel time and location into consideration.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I am working online via Zoom or WhatsApp video, both of which are encrypted and therefore safe, secure and confidential. I can also offer telephone counselling if this is not an option.
