Plan Architect Studio are a small scale practice focusing on quality design that the client can relate to. We create a concept design using 3D visualisations that show the concept. We will then develop this design based on client feedback and produce a full package of drawings for planning, pricing and construction. We will also advise on planning requirements, building control and costings. So get in touch, whether you need more space to live, work or play, if you a breaking new ground or sensitively converting an existing building, we would love to be involved.
Mostly I love the variety, every day is different when you are an Architect. Starting a new project is always exciting, however big or small. There is also great sense of satisfaction when work is completed and clients are happy.
Many things! Having worked in practice for 10 years, it is nice to be able to learn from this and do things my way in my own practice. Being a sole trader also gives me the opportunity to better balance my work and family life, so if little ones need attention in the afternoon, my work can get done when they have gone to bed!
Having technically been my own first private client, extending and fully renovating my own house, I understand what it is like to go through the process from both sides. I also want what is best for the client and their property, I would never force expensive ideas on anyone for the sake of my own portfolio. I have diverse experience which I can apply to any domestic or commercial project and offer flexibility in how involved I can be in the full process from concept sketches and 3D models, through construction work to paint colours and flooring choices!

I live offshore, but have a few properties in the UK, Arc Plan, where the obvious choice for me as all works where remote. I must say very happy with there service and value to my extended rental property.
