What’s your interior design process?

Discovery - In our first appointment we will work together to put together a brief of all the lovely things you want to incorporate into your design. If you have any references, photos or even a Pinterest board, discovery is the step to let it all out and see what works.

Schematic Design - For extension and whole home projects, often knocking down and building is part of the process.
The schematic design step is centered around developing a layout and floorplan for the project. Part of this process is ensuring that building control regulations are upheld and proper planning is conducted.

Development - Once you're happy with your floor plan - we move onto the exciting bits... Picking your interior and exterior finishings (Don't worry if your project doesn't have exterior finishings, not all of them do!)
This can be the most exciting part, from picking furniture to what colour you want your windows. This is when we do it.

Works - Again, not all project will require builders or contractors, but this step can include identifying flooring or carpet fitters, suppliers and any tradesmen required, contacting and onboarding them, making sure they're the right fit for your project.

"The put together" - This is where - you guessed it, it all gets put together. From furniture to flooring the last stage is the best part, because this is where your vision comes to life.

Which interior design styles can you cater for?

What do you love most about your job?

My Favourite part is the reactions - I love to see peoples reactions to what can often be a very stark and contrasting space to what we were originally working with, the satisfaction and excitement from clients is what makes it so fun. Putting everything together is definitely a close second, watching a room pull together in a nearly "trust the process" way is jus sooo satisfying to do.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I started out in estate agency, and I remember looking back at certain homes and thinking wow - I'd love to work with spaces like this all the time, and then I started picking up wee projects of my own, and so Level Design House was born, definitely the best decision I have ever made, I am so lucky to be able to do this day in - day out.

Why should our clients choose you?

I'm not a huge conglomerate or a massive business, it's just me, but ill put in the work of 10 people to get my projects to where they need to be. Every project I undertake is personal to me, and I put every bit of myself into them.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I do it all, consultation and design doesn't require me being there in person, and often an online service will provide you with exactly what you need, I'll still arrange and organise everything, you just sit back, relax and watch all fall into place. Howeverrrr, I also understand that sometimes having someone there is necessary and so for local projects ill always be around, and for mainland UK we can organise visitations to keep an eye on the projects.
