What do you love most about your job?

I am so lucky to be living out my dream job – working with dogs and combining their company and boundless energy with my love of walking and the outdoors. Having been a dog owner for most of my life, I understand the companionship and unconditional love that a dog can bring, and the positive impact a pet can have on family life. I am a bookworm – I love reading everything about dogs – what makes them happy, their emotional and behavioural triggers and how important it is for them to feel loved and safe. I am Canine First Aid Trained, I have completed Diplomas in Pet Care and Dog Walking and have trained with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers. I am constantly evolving and learning in a subject that I feel very passionately about.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I felt inspired to start my own business following the loss of a close friend who gave me some wise advice - life is short and always do what you love. That was when the idea and concept of Daddy Dog was born and I haven't looked back!

Why should our clients choose you?

I know that you only want the very best for your fur family member and I can assure you that I will care for every dog as if it were my own. I am proud of the measures that I have put in place to ensure your dog travels in safety and comfort and the well-being of your dog will always be my top priority. I will work hard to establish a close bond with your dog, based on mutual love and respect, and will go above and beyond to provide a service that you as the owner, and your dog, are very happy with.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

No, unfortunately I am unable to do my job remotely.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I have taken a number of steps to protect my customers and myself from Covid-19. This includes daily sanitisation of the van cages, sanitising my hands before and after every dog collection, wearing a mask when dealing with customers and maintaining a safe social distance at all times.
