What do you love most about your job?

Whilst there are times when work can be challenging, I always tell my clients no matter the age, when they come to therapy we work as a team. Together, starting from the beginning, I help them gain knowledge and insight into the skills that are required to start building on their emotional health and well being. To see the challenges that some people face and overcome through therapy, to see those 'light bulb moments' is so rewarding, I feel very privileged to be a part of their therapy journey. Helping clients make the steps needed to ultimately achieve their long term goal.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Previously working for the NHS I decided to set up working privately as I felt that due to waiting targets and service demands, I was unable to give clients the time and quality they deserved. I believe in offering a quality service and therefore giving people the time and space required to start exploring any difficulties they might be experiencing, challenging negative thoughts, feelings or behaviours in a safe and confidential environment.

Why should our clients choose you?

Passionate about being able to deliver quality, I recognised the niche for developing a specialist talking therapies service, accessible to children, young people and adults.  A service available to deliver evidence based outcomes within a timely manner, as a result, I decided to take the initiative to set up Sunflower Cognitive Therapies.
I am open and honest and I will spend time helping you to understand the presenting difficulties.  Alongside, I have developed good communication skills and knowledge to support and work with families and other professionals alike.
