What inspired you to start your own business?

Gareth Roberts founded Brass Tacks ​to provide the freshest and most accessible Negotiation Training experience available, delivering a compelling financial return to clients investing in our service.

During a 17 year corporate career in Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Gareth developed a reputation for building and leading top-performing commercial organisations, consistently exceeding performance expectations against P&Ls measured in the tens and hundreds of millions of pounds.

Driving this has been his ability, time after time, to secure enhanced deal outcomes when negotiating eight-figure contracts both in the UK and around the world.

​Gareth has been fortunate to work with numerous talented Negotiators and Negotiation Training providers over this time, learning first-hand what actually works in the real world and, just as importantly, what falls flat outside the safety of the training room.​
