We had a photo shoot for our two dogs, they're both very timid and so it was ideal that Zaria could come to our home, where they're more comfortable. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Apart from the years of studying photography, I would say having the passion and a natural creative talent is definitely have helped to taking great photographs.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I would be looking to find out the individual needs for the client and see what I can offer to accomodate their request.
What do you love most about your job?
I love so many things about my work. I think the two main parts would be:
Firstly, it does not feel like a job and Secondly, I am able to capture the memories for families to look back on for years to come.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started doing photography as a hobby when I was a very little girl. I never imagined in all the years that now I am making it my career.
In a way, it just happened when people liked my work and asked me to photograph events for them.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am very creative when it comes to my work. I see beauty and interest in everything around me.
For all of my life I have loved cameras, photographs and capturing the special moments. I gave up working full time as I wanted to learn more about photography and better the art I love so much. I have studied photography through HNC, HND at New College Lanarkshire then into degree level at Edinburgh Napier University.
I always aim to be of a high professional standard at all times. I want my clients to enjoy their special occasion and know that they do not need to worry about the photographs of the evening.
Weddings
Weddings are one of the most important days of a couples lives. I will capture those moments will let you enjoy the day with no worries and knowing you will have beautiful images to show.
Newborn Photography
Perfect before 10 days old. Capture the newness of your perfect bundle of joy. Booking suggested prior to baby being born to avoid disappointment.
Pet Portraits
If you are anything like myself, your pets are a member of the family. Why not have your pets portrait taken to put up in your house or workplace.
