What do you love most about your job?
My passion is to help individuals and small to medium business grow and thrive. I have worked as an academic, as an R&D researcher, an IT consultant and strategy consultant for over 25 years. In all, my driver was to help my clients succeed in their ambitions.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked for many large prestigious firms that honed my skills over the years. They provided me with a wealth of experience working with large and small clients. It was time for me to start my own "business coaching & consulting" as I felt my focus was not aligned with the firm's priorities. My aim is to provide a flexible solution focusing on success of the individuals - an executive, a business owner or just a professional.
Why should our clients choose you?
A look at my CV tells all the big names: universities attended and companies I worked for. What it doesn't say is how I navigated a complex life. Once I was a lone 20 year old refugee in Canada who couldn't speak English, had no academic qualifications, had no money, and didn't know anyone! And I thought I was in heaven of opportunities!
I see the best in people. Many a times, I meet people and after a few minutes, I express how I see them and they ask me to repeat it so they could write it down. We all need someone who can see our greatness and yet not afraid to tell you the challenges you will face, help you navigate your path and act as a cheerleader.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, most of my clients are busy and prefer to conduct their sessions online - mostly on zoom for one of one session, and for follow-up questions or quick check-ins, we use Whatsapp or plain text message.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Most of my business - both consulting and coaching - have been conducted remotely. Previously I would make sure the first sessions were in person but due to the pandemic, currently, all sessions are conducted online.
