We are a Cheltenham based dog walking and pet care service called Your Pet First.

About us:
Your Pet First is a family run business based in Gloucestershire, run by Jamie and Sophie. We have both been fortunate to have spent our lives surrounded by variety of pets and now have the opportunity to pursue a career caring for other peoples. Your Pet First will treat your pet as if they were our own, giving them all the care and attention, they deserve.

We understand that with busy lives, leaving your pet alone at home can be a worry. So, as well as dog walking, Your Pet First offers day and night home visits for all types of pets.
This can take the pressure off from long days, trips away, or unexpected illness. We also offer a flexible and reliable pet taxi service.

We are both DBS checked, fully insured and will pick your pooch up or transport your pet in a fully ventilated, caged van. We both hold certificates in pet first aid and CPR. We are committed to our professional development and have completed dog walking and pet sitting courses as well as animal psychology.
We are currently working towards animal training certificates and are gaining the necessary experience to allow us to practice this.

Our Services:

* Dog walking - We can accommodate both group and individual walks and walk a maximum of four dogs at a time. This will make sure each dog is being adequately cared for and is getting the attention they deserve on their walk!
We ensure that the walks are varied, stimulating and enjoyable for your dogs and are on planned 30 or 60-minute routes. This will ensure we get the most out of our time together...

* Puppy Packages - Get in touch today to ask about our puppy care services. We can tailor our visits to suit your needs, and most importantly to keep your pup happy throughout the day. We can provide an extensive list of services, including feeding, playing, cleaning up any accidents, administering medication and reinforcing any training that you may be undertaking. Ultimately providing reassuring company and a break from the boredom that can come so easily to a puppy.

* Pet Visits - Whatever the pet, we can provide visits of 30 minutes to an hour depending on your requirements. Do you need someone to let your dog out in the garden for a while? Does your cat need feeding? Do you have any animal that could do with a short visit throughout the day or someone to visit your pet in your home whilst you are away or at work, then please get in touch today

* Exotic Pet Care - We are experienced with a range of exotic pets, from owning panther chameleons to breeding snakes such as Morelia spilota jaguar (carpet pythons). Therefore, we appreciate the difficulty faced when you can't be there for them. Rather than moving your pet whilst you are away, let us visit and take care of their needs.

*Pet Taxi - We are happy to take your pet to any appointment they may have. We will either wait with them, or pick them up at the end of the appointment. We can send you regular updates if they are required.
We have a large ventilated van, purposely fitted for the safe transport of your pet. The van is fitted with two large fans and up to five cages. All of our cages are secure, fitted with non slip flooring and adjustable to accommodate pets of all shapes and sizes. The bespoke fittings are perfectly designed for putting your pet first.
