Mischelle
Yoshi took some excellent photos of my family. There was a mixture of candid, posed and arty shots. He is friendly, approachable and so humble. He was quick with response times from the moment I posted the job. He was punctual, tidy and had a great manner with my daughter. I recieved the photographs the same night and i love each one. Thank you Yoshi for being our photographer. Michellle S. More...

I have worked with Yoshi on around 6/7 projects so far for 1883 Magazine, shooting a number of bands and actors. Each time the quality of his photography is outstanding and has risen the bar for what we produce for our readers.
Always a pleasure to work with I couldn't recommend Yoshi enough. Very much looking forward to working with him again.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I realized that taking better pictures is not always about technique. However, there are a few of the things I try to remind myself on set:
Approach - I am sorry if I violate personal space, with my warmth and enthusiasm.... Of course, only with warm, genuine personal attention.
Shoot the moment - So the life is a series of moments, not images. I try to shoot in between moments as well as moments.
Move around for variations - I would be hopping around, moving high, getting low, going back, returning to front, shooting up, shooting down. I tend to get my knees dirty to eye-to-eye level when I'm shooting kids!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
It's very important fro me to know what client wants and see the vision as clear as possible before shooting. In order to achieve the bast images as possible. I suppose every photographer has a different style, I can not copy every other's. I always try to create the best clients want in mysterious style.
What do you love most about your job?
I think photo shooting is 100% team work. It's such an amazing feeling when all the small pieces come to a moment and become a great image. No matter if it's a single portrait session, or commercial shoot with a big team.
Why should our clients choose you?
We would like to make the experience of getting your images taken creative and personal; one size does not fit all. I always try my best to offer a flexible approach to each client according to what you need, your style, etc.
