Q&As

The more technically challenging the better - it is very satisfying to find and exploit a vulnerability that is complex and hard to achieve and results in significant security impacts. I can't underestimate how much it means to me that I know that my work has directly contributed to people being safer and more secure.

Penetration testing services come in a variety of forms and qualities. YGHT only does work that is designed to be exactly what is required for the circumstances and is heavily driven by a consultative approach. The accuracy of the findings is very important for getting a strong understanding of the real risk being posed by a technical vulnerability - YGHT always puts the technical findings in context and provides suitable evidence and explanation about the finding so that it can be dealt with properly. And if that wasn't enough, it can be cheaper and more effective to employ a small organisation to perform penetration testing work as these companies don't have the large overheads and shareholders of the larger competitors.

Services

Penetration testing is broken down into multiple different disciplines and each requires significant specialist knowledge. One of which is Web Application Penetration Testing which requires a deep understanding of how web applications work and the technologies involved and how these can be used to cause an unwanted effect within the web application.

Infrastructure is required for all web applications and so can be seen as critical for making sure that the applications running on the infrastructure are secure.
