We came across YAM studios while researching online for interior designers to renovate our flat in west London. Among 4 design groups that we had met, we chose the YAM team for the job because of its creative ideas that bear Scandinavian style which was exactly what we wanted. Throughout the whole process, Kashi, Ana and Liam were brilliant in their presentation, communication and management of the project. They regularly had meetings on site with the builders and us to make sure works were done as specified in the designed plan. The team also went extra miles to alter some details in order to fit our modest budget. We now have a beautiful home and very happy. And more over, Kashi, Ana and Liam have become friends to us too! We engaged YAM studios to undertake a complete contemporary refurbishment of our flat. We are exceedingly pleased with the results, from the comfortable, clever and practical layout to the beautiful lighting design and attractive finishes throughout. Moreover, we really found Kashi, Liam and Ana went above above and beyond, not only in the effort and hours they put in but in all the design solutions (even when we changed our mind or encountered structural issues) and in identifying suppliers who offered great value for money to deliver incredible results whilst working within budget. They helped take us through whole process from start to finish which was reassuring given our lack of experience with contractors and one of the main lessons we learnt was to always trust their design judgment. We use our extensive experience to guide you through the stages of the project so the decision-making becomes an enjoyable task and you can focus on seeing your dream home taking shape as we work our way through the process. We take care of every aspect of the interior - kitchen, bathrooms, lighting, bespoke joinery as well as furniture and accessories, this helps us to create a home that is curated specifically for your needs and lifestyle.

What do you love most about your job?
The chance to create beautiful spaces for our clients, seeing initial concepts and ideas turn into reality. We enjoy getting to know our clients through the design process as we develop the scheme and how each client's distinct tastes create opportunities to explore new approaches to design.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The love of contemporary minimalist design with a scandinavian warm touch and the opportunity to offer this to clients with the same aesthetic. We felt there were limited options for people who were looking for this aesthetic in London and beyond.

We specialise in contemporary minimalist, scandi-inspired interior design and are very technically oriented. We cover all interior aspects such as kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, space planning, hard finishes, furniture, bespoke joinery and accessories.

We work remotely with video calls and site visits are socially distanced.
