Xavi is a very talented and professional photographer. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. He has great attention to detail and makes sure the scene is immaculate before taking the shot. In difficult to photograph spaces (e.g. very low ceiling and back light) he manages to show off the space in the best possible way. I had the pleasure of working with Xavi both for venue photography as well as event photography and he excels in both showing fantastic interaction with guests which encourages even the less extrovert individual to pose for the camera. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Passion and iIllusion are key, then several factors such as light. I want be able to connect with what I photograph and when I sit behind my camera. Connection is the challenge and I really adore it.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I like to know especially what the photos are going to be used for. The more information I have, the more I can use my emotional intelligence to demonstrate empathy and reach a synergy with the person wanting photos.
What do you love most about your job?
I adore the versatility that the job offers to immerse myself in different projects both studio or reportage. It gives me pride to know that my work is useful at private or profesional levels.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I decided to start my company as I can provide services and share my experience with many different types of persons who like my work and appreciate my style.
