The idea for Woodland Paws came about in 2012 to commemorate our beloved family dog, Nancy, and share the genuine love of dogs and passion that we have for caring for them through offering a range of services to other dog owners.
As a team we have years of experience with breeds of all kinds, and welcome dogs and puppies, as well as cats and small furries of all shapes, sizes and personalities.

Great service!!! Can't recommend Woodland enough. Baz absolutely loves Beth et al. They have been fab and really accommodating. Going the extra mile when he was poorly and squeezing time in last minute when my plans change. I love seeing the photos/videos and knowing Basil is having a good time. Cannot praise woodland paws enough,their staff have been great with my rescue dog Jaqk - he was sad to see Laura go as Laura had been walking with Jaqk since I got him in January as a 6 month old pup. He is a very nervous dog and I did not think he would take to Paul, Paul has a great manner and Jaqk has taken to him and his dog without any issues and they all enjoy there walks together.. Jaqk recently met Beth, who has a lot offered a lot of help and advice on how to deal with Jaqk's nervousness. I cannot recommend them enough, after Jaqk has been with woodlands paws, he comes back a very tired dog, but has a great time, just seeing the photos online you can tell. Beth is fantastic with my cats ( 6 of them ). She visits twice daily to give them medication ( I'm unable to do it due to recent surgery). She is so good with them and they know when she in the house as they get themselves in their places for her. thank you for helping me last night as I was stranded in the cold and rain heavily pregnant with a totally busted tire I was there for over a hour until yous come to help me even went out of your way on a cold Saturday night to help a total stranger was amazing,kind hearted and so caring and if you can do that for a stranger then just goes to show how much love care and attention you give to all the pets you care for and I know were il be coming with my animals thank you from the bottom of my heart

What do you love most about your job?
Watching the puppies learn new skills, dogs make new friends, and their tails wag when we're new environments is so rewarding, watching them jump back in the van for a snuggle and a snooze after their walk is even more rewarding as for me that's a tell that they're happy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After our family dog Nancy, had to leave us suddenly I was lost without her. I took comfort in spending time with other peoples dogs, fast forward to today and I have an extended family who I treasure.
Why should our clients choose you?
Woodland Paws is a team of Fully Insured, First Aid Trained, dog lovers.
For us dog's are not a job, they are part of our life. We may have our own dogs at home but, our extended family lives with you!
Making sure they are happy, safe and relaxed is our main aim. So we specially select their 'friends' to ensure that their days are not overwhelming, play styles are matched, and their needs are matched to those they share their walks with.
Dog Walking
Our walks offer a fun and enjoyable walk for your dog no matter the size or breed. Walks start from time arrived at destination to ensure your dog gets the best out of their time out.
Your dog will enjoy a good walk in a variety of stimulating locations with plenty of space to stretch their legs, chase toys and explore the area.
Pop In Visits
Walks are not suited to every paw, which is where our pop in visits are more fitted. Maybe your new puppy needs someone to break up the day or your dog needs medication at a certain time.
Pop in visits are also available for other pets too; from cats to small furries, we’ll even check on your reptiles or fish too
Our Pop in visits can be adapted to meet the care your pet needs, and are another option when looking into pet care cover whilst you're on holiday
Day Care
More than just a walk. Our day care means your dog joins us on our walks for the day. Maybe 2 walks, maybe 3, exploring, having fun and in various locations – all with time in between for a snooze.
Puppy Day Care
Once our puppies are 16 weeks we are able to offer ‘Puppy Day Care’. Days with us are arranged to offer the best socialisation, interactions and positive experiences.
