We have used Wizard of Paws for puppy training classes and now for grooming. All the members of staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They love all the dogs that come through the door and speak to anyone who needs a hand. Our wee Pepper absolutely had a blast at the puppy classes at Wizard of Paws Susie is such a lovely pwoofessor and knows how to approach every scenario in a different way that works for each pup. I cannot recommend Wizard of Paws enough. Their puppy classes are excellent and so informative. I came away from the class so clear on what I need to do with my puppy. I also had a 1-2-1 session with Peter and was so impressed with his knowledge and his personable approach. He’s obviously excellent at what he does and again I came away with so much confidence in how to do the best for my dog. If you want the best for your puppy, take them to these classes! More...

What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy helping clients get the best from their dogs.
I love to help dog owners regain confidence with their pet when things have gone 'askew'! Helping people to understand what makes their dog tick and how to be the best thing in their dog's life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been working professionally with dogs and their owners for over 25yrs. Our home was never without at least 2 dogs when growing up. After rescuing my very first dog when I moved out the family home I needed help! I had rescued 'Buster'. Bad behaviour?? you name it, he had it! I had to learn fast or the future was not looking good for Buster. This led me on the path I have followed for the last 25 plus years.

With more than 25 years experience of helping owners and their dogs. I have a vast knowledge and experience. At Wizard of Paws we have a really strong team to help to deliver first class dog training and behaviour advise.
Working with dogs is so much more than just a job for us. Our team all have several dogs of their own. some are solely pets others are highly trained competition agility and flyball dogs. I personally have a team of 5 Working Cocker Spaniels which I train for gundog work and competition.
Our methods of training are modern and positive. We will help your dogs behaviour improve by tapping into his/her natural and innate behaviour and harnessing it. No force is ever required! We treat all our clients (human and canine) with upmost respect and treat your dogs like our own.
