On July 5th, we hired Leonel to create an internet page to be used in the Amazon affiliate profile. We make the payment of an advance equivalent to 50% of the agreement. He promised us to deliver the complete service in 7 days. After several contacts, to date, nothing has been delivered to us. I cannot say whether he is a good professional or not. I am not happy with Lee services or his work ethics. I paid half the payment and and 3 hours later changed my mind about utilizing his services and requested a refund which should not have been a problem since he did not begin working on the website! Again I requested a refund within a 24 hour period. I am a small business owner and do not have money to just give away! He does not want to return my money therefore I had to contact Wix customer support for help! I feel scammed! More...

Thank you for your comments and i am trully sorry that you feel the way you do. I am also a small business so when we are retained for a project by a customer we do not take on any other work so we devote the hours booked for that project and take a deposit to safeguard us from cancellations and customers that just change their mind for no reason. (As per our terms and conditions on our Website). I had spent 4 hours planning and creating your online website store. If you decide to have the website built please let me know and i will be more than happy to do it for you minus the deposit you have paid already.

A HUGE mistake.

Lee pitched well in our consultation, but that’s where it ends. 

Lee wasted our time & wasted our money.

Lee ignored our messages, our instructions & our deadlines.

Lee has not carried out half of the work as stated in our 4-month agreement & in fact, we carried out half of the work for him because as above he ignored our messages, instructions & deadlines.

Lee had excuse after excuse.

Paying him money upfront was a HUGE mistake as what we got in return was horrendous communication & extremely poor service. On 21/11/22, halfway through our agreement, we requested an end to it, & a pro rata refund. We filed a formal complaint the following day (22/11/22) at which point Lee ‘threatened’ us with a letter from his solicitor.

Lee responded to our formal complaint on 28/11/22 after us constantly having to chase him AGAIN - his email was full of excuses, defensive statements, patronising comments, a refusal to acknowledge his poor communication & service, & a rejection of our refund request.

We responded to Lee requesting his companies complaints procedure - this has been ignored. Once the 8-week period has expired for Lee to respond properly to our complaint, & assuming he will not, we will be taking the matter to the Ombudsman to ensure we receive our pro rata refund.

It leaves us wondering whether all the 5-star reviews Lee’s company has, are legitimate, as from our experience with him, he was the complete opposite to his ‘amazing’ review.

In conclusion: if you want to waste your money, your time & your energy, then Lee is your man. More...
