What do you love most about your job?
My team and I enjoy working and meeting clients and new people and ensuring that we make a positive impact to someone's life. Every client is different and love to use a person centred approach to meet needs of each client.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We are very passionate about our job,both management and staff are hard working and dedicated. The management have set up WITLENS Ltd not only as a business but to give something and make a difference to the community. The directors enjoy working with the elderly and vulnerable members of the society and our previous professional experience which spans over 20years has equiped us with the neccessary skills to provide this service.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our team's experience which includes intermidiate care and re-anablement services among many others spanning over 20years for each of us. We feel that this places us in a better position to provide a quality outcomes for our clients and prevention of hospital admissions setting us apart from other providers. Both partners' recent and current roles are Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Our staff are well trained and if you have specific needs we will endeavour to provide our staff with specific training to suit your needs.

We do not provide online service , we can possibly arrange zoom meeting for initially meeting.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We ensure we continue to be up-to-date with current with Public Health England guidelines.
We also get regular update via Email from the CQC and other relevant professinal bodies.
Our staff get weekly COVID-19 screens and wear full Personal Protective equipment and change for each and every patient.
We follow a strict infectionprevention control procedures.
Intermittent Service
A Carer comes at appointed times depending on your care needs. The duration of each visit lasts a minimum of 30 minutes to whatever time is agreed in your care plan. The number of visit per day starts from one to several visits at the time of your choosing for example:
Morning visit: Assisting you in getting out of bed and serving breakfast.
Midday visit: Preparing your dinner and light housework or as needed.
Evening visit: Preparing your supper and getting you into bed
Live In Service
Our Live-in-Care Workers live with you in your own home as your companion. They assist with everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care. With this help, you and your loved ones can continue to live how you choose and keep doing the things you love.
We have Care Team members up and down East and West Midlands so you’re never far away from one of our Live-In Home Care experts. Whenever you reach we will soon be in touch to discuss your needs or those of family members.
Companionship and Befriending Services
Witlens will match you with a Carer who has the same interest and personality as you or your loved one.
Our Carer will keep you company to gradually build your confidence and also support you if you want to go on social occasions or holiday.
We have built a Team of Carers who ensure that our services are reliable, flexible, and will personalise our service to you and your loved one's interest as a top priority. We believe that this is the way to nurture true friendship and high quality of care
End of Life Care
We have well-trained Carers and nurses who can step up to ensure that you or your loved one's passing is painless, making every effort to provide comfort from every angle and as well supporting family members at such times.
This ensures that you are coping and continue with life
Complex care support
Our package supports you or your loved one with a wide range of physical, learning, and neurological needs. We will design with you and family members a care plan that delivers a very personalised service to cater to your conditions, up to 24-hours a day.
This package will also meet the need for support for palliative care for you or your loved one.
Night Support Service
Our dedicated nightly support care option is for those who primarily need care during the night, rather than during the day.
Night Sitting: The carer is on call at all times during the night and is awake, alert, and making certain the client is sleeping, resting or at least safe, sound and secure.
Night Sleeper: The carer is on hand in the client’s home, for them to call as they need. A carer can be called up to 3 times per night for periods of no longer than 30 mins. A bed is requested for the carer. You will have peace of mind that there is someone on hand if required.
Duties of Domiciliary Care
Assistance with dressing/undressing - getting up in the morning and preparing for bed at night
Assistance with bathing, showering, and washing
Assistance with skincare, washing hair, and cleaning teeth
Manicuring and foot care but not cutting toenails
Assistance with bed bathing
Assistance with toileting and use of incontinence aids
Assistance with medication and health-related duties (following the written Care Plan)
Night sleepover or sitting service and day sitting services
Assisting with the feeding
