Bookkeeping (data entry, set up of automatic bank feeds, bank reconciliations, debtor and creditor control, payroll journals, accruals and prepayments)
Set up of accounting software (Xero) to suit YOUR business needs (and I can provide training)
Corporation tax preparation and returns for small to medium companies (SME's)
Self assessment tax returns for sole traders and partnerships
VAT registration and returns
PAYE registration and submissions
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
A good accountant will help you run your business as tax efficiently as possible and in a way that complies with current legislation. They'll be there as your business grows to provide advice and expertise and explain financial documents without using jargon!
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing my clients feeling in control of their businesses and that happens when their records are up to date and the figures are at their fingertips. I'm happy when they're at ease, knowing I'm keeping them compliant with HMRC, Companies House etc.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having had a good mentor for many years who ran her own accountancy practice, I challenged myself to do the same!

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, absolutely! I use Xero which is an online accounting platform. Clients will be able to access this remotely wherever they have an internet connection. Two-step authentication process will keep their details safe online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Zoom meetings and WhatsApp calls have taken the place of in-person meetings. Docs are sent using Adobe pdf and email, not post.
