My first experience of a Reiki healing session was with Kim and it was wonderful. Kim is kind, gentle and nurturing and I felt very at ease and comfortable.
During the session I could feel the energy and physical sensations in my body. It was a really pleasant and warm feeling, like my body and mind were receiving something they needed. I suffer with chronic pain due to a Spinal Cord Injury and Fibromyalgia and my pain levels were definitely reduced after the session. It was like the tension and pain that I was holding in my body was starting to release. It was a really profound experience. I felt more at ease than I had done in a long time and I slept extremely well that evening, which is a rarity for me! My second session was an even more powerful experience, which again had a profoundly positive impact on my sense of well-being. The setting on Kim’s boat in the Marina is beautiful and peaceful and for me this added to the experience. I also know Kim in a counselling capacity and can attest to her naturally empathic, warm and supportive style.
