The representative, recommended to me by my pensions advisor, visited me at home and had good knowledge of the executor and trustee services I required. There was absolutlely no hard-selling involved. He helped me set my modest affairs in order in a professional manner and the paperwork was surprisingly easy to to draw up. Copies of everything are now stored centrally and hard copies are with my executors and attorneys. Nick Ash answered our plea of trying to get our wills rushed through when my husband got cancer, we had less than 2 weeks before he was being rushed in for surgery. Nick dropped everything to come and see us between hospital appointments and actually came out of normal working hours to make sure that we had everything in place. His supporting team were fantastic and were able to tweak wording for us when the first drafts came through.Nick also advised us of things we needed to consider that other services had not. He gave us a fixed quotation at the beginning which he kept to, and despite us not paying straight away (every time I called the office was closed initially) he had patience with us and gave us understanding whilst we dealt with our family crisis. My husband is now clear of cancer, and thankfully we haven't needed the wills, but it just goes to show.. you could need them at any time. I was personally met in reception by the solicitor with whom I had my appointment. He was friendly and courteous, offering me the choice of either the lift or the stairs to reach the office. He chatted with me in a relaxed manner all the way. My appointment went in a very similar fashion. The solicitor was kind and softly-spoken, easy to understand and expedited the necessary work in a timely manner. To save my needing to return to collect paperwork, or to avoid the necessity to post it, I was taken to the in-house cafe, where I was able to have a cup of coffee, whilst I waited for the document preparation to be completed. It is the most interesting job in the world. Everyone is different.
We help people with the big things, Life, Death, Family and Money. Finding solutions to thorny issues is a speciality alongside helping when all hope seems lost. The more time I spend with people the more fascinated I get.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It was a family issue that couldn't be resolved. Nobody wanted to help so I set out to learn everything that I could about the world of Wills and Probate.
