About

WildGym was set up by Lucy (a qualified personal trainer) in early 2018 with the aim of empowering regular people to lead happier, healthier lives without needing to step foot in a gym. We offer mobile personal training (in a local park, or at your home/garden) as well as group circuit training and HIIT classes in and around Bath.

I really enjoy the WildGym group sessions. Lucy is a very knowledgeable, motivated and patient trainer. The sessions are very effective, as I am already noticing my progress in just a few weeks. Each session is different, the group is friendly and have different ability levels. More...

I've been doing the Wild Gym early bird session at Victoria Park. Lucy is knowledgable and confident and gives me the encouragement and motivation i need. Whatever your goal (from mastering a press up, regaining pre-pregnancy strength, to running a half marathon) we'll work together to design an exercise programme that’s carefully tailored to YOU, taking into account your likes, dislikes, lifestyle and exercise history. Our aim is to help you become a stronger, happier and healthier version of yourself and there's no one size fits all approach. We act as coach and cheerleader along your fitness journey, regularly checking in over email and message and answering any questions you have. We also offer nutritional assessment and advice to ensure you're fuelling your body to support your fitness programme.

Meeting a whole host of different people, and supporting them to become stronger, healthier and (most importantly) happier as the weeks progress.

I've always been active and involved in health and fitness outside work, but after spending ten-years working as a researcher in biology, I was increasingly stuck behind a computer screen so decided to reassess. I've now turned my passion for health and fitness into a career and love to help other people achieve their health and fitness goals.

You don't need to be a member of a gym to train with us. We offer friendly mobile personal training in one of the green spaces around Bath or at your home if that's more convenient for you (it's often an easier options for mums!). We'll bring all the equipment we'll need, bags of enthusiasm, and a sprinkle of tough love!
