Whozza Good Dog is an established dog training business offering group classes and 1 to 1 training in the Horwich, Bolton, Blackrod, Chorley and Wigan areas.
A 6 week training course costs £75 and 1 to 1 training is available at £20 - £35 per 45 minute session.

We have just completed the 6 week puppy obedience course, due to having a very excitable puppy we have done this one to one with Peter. We found the course very beneficial and Peter is a very patient and supportive trainer. After 6 weeks our puppy Dottie is still excitable but now responds to basic commands and much more responsive to learning. I HIGHLY recommend these classes. A simple, well structured course teaching all the basics required. Play time at the end of each session was great for socialisation and both Peter and Hannah helped build my confidence around this as this was new to Nelson.

Loved our lessons at Whozza Good Dog Noah did - well not amazing when at the class as was a little lively however came on leaps-and-bounds since starting the class. We learnt a lot, for me though the main thing was the socialising; class one Noah was far too boisterous but now after completing he's brilliant with other dogs and plays well. Peter is an excellent trainer and very patient. As an owner we learnt a lot too and was great to learn from other owners as well as Peter of course. Cody loved going to whozza good dog puppy class. We got taught a lot of things and learnt a lot about dogs behaviour. Cody learnt a number of things such as stay, leave sit and recall techniques that we now use daily. He also won 2 prizes at competitions in different lessons which he loved. Just finished our six week puppy class with our puppy meg the class was as much for us as it was for Meg not having had a dog for over 20 years.

What do you love most about your job?
Working with dogs is great fun and very rewarding. To start with a dog that has several behavioural problems and to finish with a well behaved and trained dog is the best feeling in the world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We already have a dog boarding and pet sitting business which has been very successful over the past 5 years, we decided to expand into dog training and set up a separate business to offer that service to the Bolton and surrounding area.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are passionate about dogs and other animals, we have 7 chickens, a rabbit, a guinea pig and a three-legged cat called George, and enjoy having dogs staying in our house and making dramatic changes through our training classes. Our recent addition is Rosie, a Labrador cross rescue dog from Cyprus who has been with us since November 2018 and helps out at the training classes.
