Warnes McGarr recently designed and landscaped our garden and we couldn’t be happier with the end result and the service we received.
My wife and I were invited up to their studio in Wigan to discuss our initial ideas and then once again to go through Michael’s 3D design, which really impressed us!
We were very pleased with what he had managed to achieve with a relatively small space to work with.
He had listened to exactly what we had discussed and incorporated this into a really cool design.
The project from design to completion took around 2 months with minimal disruption to our daily lives.
Michael and Rob were always on hand throughout to talk us through the progress and answer any questions we had. Louis the site manager/dog was very affectionate and always a good boy!
Our garden is looking amazing now that it is all finished, Jay and Josh who carried out most of the construction work really did an amazing job in bringing it all together. They have been brilliant the whole way through and we couldn’t praise them enough, they are great guys and Warnes McGarr have a very professional team.
The whole process has been flawless throughout and we really want to thank you for our beautiful garden!
We can’t express how much we love our garden, it feels like an extension of our house and it is so nice being able to sit out around the fire pit still going into colder autumn weather.
We’ve had friends over and hosted garden parties (which we were never able to do before) and really enjoyed using our wood fired pizza oven. We love sitting inside and looking out at the ever changing colours in the garden too, it is so peaceful and calming.

Michael & Robert listened to our interests of how we wanted our garden to be, they came up with a great design with 3D drawings so that we could visualise the end result. The installation Team Sam & Rik, started the beginnings of our new garden by totally renovating over the old garden. During the 12 weeks the team kept us updated throughout the process and it was soon clear once parts of the garden were completed how spectacular it would be. This included new porcelain tiles being laid, floating bridge, hard wood raised decking, large water feature, meadow turf and outdoor living/kitchen area with a green sedum roof to help the environment and feed and maintain the wildlife. We had no idea what potential our garden kept hidden as a secret. These guys design unlocked the potential by designing a living space that matched exactly what we wanted and kept the theme of our house extension running through the garden to the very end. Warnes McGarr is a very professional company. Everyone we worked with were intelligent and professional. The design ideas involved things we wouldn't have been able to think of ourselves and included levelling and transformation of a wasteland at the back. As it was a big project for us there were bound to be minor issues and these were all resolved in a timely and professional manner. The budget was negotiated fairly and the work done was of a high quality. It was worth paying for good workmanship and excellent knowledge in all aspects of our garden design and construction. ! We could never have imagined the finished result looking so good. Your eye for perfection and professionalism was 'second to none', nothing was too much trouble!
The lads Rob, Marcus & Dave, who worked on the garden were hardworking, reliable and very approachable, they arrived early and worked continuously until late, often working in the dark!! Every evening before they left, they tidied and washed down making sure we were never left with a mess!
Since the completion of the garden 12 months ago, the 'after care service' has been incredible; phone calls to check everything is as expected, quick responses to any inquiries we made and more importantly personal touches & changes that weren't on the original plan were taken into consideration!

I needed a Bradstone assured paving contractor to pave my back garden and to add some sleepers to construct a contemporary bedding border.
Michael at MJM Landscape was the first to respond to my enquiry and we arranged a date for him to come around to the house to evaluate the work. Michael showed up bang on time and subsequently provided a quote on company headed paper very promptly.
The quote from MJM was competitive compared to other quotes I had received and Michael's professionalism and the backing of the 15 year warranty meant the decision was easy to go with MJM.
Michael and the guys from MJM did a fantastic job with the paving and the overall finishing and they were happy to add on some additional work towards the end of the project.
MJM are very professional in everything they do and I would recommend them to anyone seeking a landscape designer / paving contractor.
