Tony and the team at Walpole Dunn are friendly, helpful and organised. They go out of their way to help ensure that things run smoothly. Payment is monthly and a very fair cost (they don't add hidden extras like our last accountant). Email questions don't cost extra and you get at least one meeting a year as part of the deal. We deal with all aspects of accounting and tax including year end statutory financial statements and corporation tax returns, management accounts, Research and Development (R & D) claims, company SEIS/EIS/EMI schemes and all aspects of accounting and taxation advice.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
We recognise that, whilst important, the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns rarely help businesses flourish, and so choose an alternative approach to most traditional accountants. We aim to become external business consultants to our clients; being on hand to provide assistance with all aspects of their business.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting people and finding out about their business. It's great to speak with highly motivated individuals who are extremely passionate about their business and ultimately it is very satisfying to find different ways to assist them along the way!
What inspired you to start your own business?
After many years working within a mid-tier accountancy practice our desire was to establish a new accountancy firm, providing a fresh perspective to the industry.
