booked aiport pick and drop off and found them great. The driver was waiting at the airport when collect our bags spoken to him and was advised to come to orange car park. Driver was very polite well spoken and helpful. My phone got off while in car park but driver was already in the car park and i remember the Reg of the car so found him. My sister lives in Wallington and I visited her for the first time. After arriving by train from Victoria and being new to the area I was told that I could get a cab from here and that it would be a 5 minute journey. After a long journey from Birmingham all I wanted was to get to journeys end. I went into the booking office and requested a taxi but was told by the polite and friendly man at the desk that there were no cabs available for 40 minutes and that he was sorry. Disappointed and at some what of a loss, the man asked me where I was going. I gave him the address and he said: 'You know that is only a 10 minute walk from here and almost a straight journey, you can walk it and don't need a taxi'. This surprised me as I expected him to want my business and convince me to book and wait for a cab. Instead he beckoned me over to his desk and showed me a huge map of the route from there to my sisters house and talked me through how to get there. In a world where everyone seems to be out to rip off the next guy and where genuine kindness, helpfulness and generosity is scarce, it's very refreshing to find someone who is willing to be decent even if it means losing a few quid. Although I never needed the cab, I do know that should I need one to go a little further afield then it's Wallington Station Cars that I will be calling. Many thanks. More...
