What an experience with vts hosting from start to finish. I enquired about their hosting on a Saturday with a prompt email back from Mark to say he will give me a call on Monday to explain the options. It was a pleasant conversation with no upselling at all. After the call, he said he will look at my site and see what the best option was for me and he would call me back. Mark called back within an hour to give me my options which he advised the lower package or middle package, what honest not to sell me the dearest, just what was right for my needs. The next step was migrating me website which Brad completed on the same day. Communication was excellent, straight to the point and this was completed within the hour. Even a follow up to check everything was right and working correctly. On the Saturday Mark sent a message to make sure i was satisfied that my site was working ok and that i was happy with the service. That has never happened before to me from a hosting company without an automated email, it was the personal touch what made the difference. Last year we decided we needed better service and performance from our hosting solution so decided to go with VTS Web Services. It can be a bit hair raising moving an e-commerce site from one server to another but this (the fourth) time it was painless, in that they took it out of our hands and did all the work for us.The hosting experience since has been exactly how you would hope, performance is great with nothing else to report.More recently we decided our aging and clunky site needed a refurb so commissioned VTS to build us a new one. We are delighted with our new well designed and slick site, any snags have been dealt with efficiently and customer feedback has been nothing but complementary.Would highly recommend on all levels, your site will be in safe hands. Our village website was way out of date and, after checking a number of possible web designers, we chose VTS to bring us up-to-date.
My knowledge of web design is minimal (OK, non-existent) but Mark and Lewis guided me through the whole process with great expertise and infinite patience. Lewis’ response to my constant questions was always positive and creative and we now have a new site to be proud of.
We’ve only just moved into the hosting phase but I have very confidence that this experience will be just as positive as the design phase. Certainly my early queries and requests for help have been answered very promptly.

Careful planning! Make sure you have looked at the site from the user perspective.
What can you do to make it as easy as possible for them to :
Firstly, find what they are looking for.
Secondly, give them all the information they need
Thirdly, make it easy for them to contact you from any part of the site.
Getting the right imagery is also crucial. The images should be relevant to your site and what you are offering. They should be high quality and clear in detail.
Consistent performance across all platforms and screen resolutions from the largest desktop to a smartphone.
Site loading speed is also vitally important - nobody likes to wait!
