"I came to Tatiana in April 2017 as I had been suffering from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) for years resulting in acne, painful cramps, irregular periods and as a result, fertility problems. I also suffered from migraines. I thought for many years I had a healthy diet, but what I didn't understand was that I was insulin resistant which was causing problems with my hormones. Tatiana made the approach to my tailored diet fun and I was excited to eat organic, fresh, delicious and nutritional foods. I was also advised on supplements to take. Within a few weeks I had so much more energy and no headaches at all (I used to get headaches weekly) and after a month my skin improved dramatically. My menstrual cycle started to become more frequent, from a 12 week cycle to 8 weeks to eventually 6 weeks. " I consulted Tatiana because I felt that my body was trying to tell me that something was amiss! The symptoms I had included apnea at night, difficulty swallowing, frequent sore and swollen tongue, reflux, restless leg syndrome, gout, regular bloating and fatigue.

Tatiana suggested a complete change in diet. I mistakenly thought I was eating fairly healthily but I was very motivated to try a new way of eating and to hopefully cure myself through diet rather than medication. I was so highly motivated that I found it relatively easy to change to the diet Tatiana recommended.

After about a month, some of my symptoms had disappeared altogether and the others had lessened considerably. I’m a lot less tired, my skin is clear and I feel very healthy. "I used to think I was making healthy choices, so could never understand why I felt so low. However, through Tatiana's education, she helped me to see that what we think is healthy is absolutely not. "I had struggled with finding the motivation to exercise previously as I was so tired and lethargic all the time. I wanted to come home and have a nap in the early evening, which would cause a vicious of sleep pattern disruption. You have transformed my life and I know that finding you was a blessing to me from God! Thanks to your help, I no longer feel sleepy in the afternoons. I used to feel absolutely exhausted all day, and after lunch, just a couple of hours later, I always needed to stop all activities and collapse on a sofa or bed for the rest of the day. It is key for you to understand that without improvements to your current diet there won't be any improvements to your health. You may think that you already eat a very healthy diet, but if you're not well, that on its own means that your diet is not the most appropriate one for your nutritional needs.

What I love most about my job is to be a health & wellness inspirational motivator and solve complex clinical cases with the aid of only a few apparently illogical symptoms as initial clues. What inspired me to become a health and fitness expert was definitely my own poor health and very poor fitness level when I reached my teenage years.
I was smoking, drinking, eating junk foods, not exercising... and of course, feeling awful and carrying around a lot of unwanted boy weight. Then, l one good
day I said to myself: "Enough! I'm the only one capable of putting an end to this suffering and I'm going to do it now, no matter what!". I started reading and studying about health, changed my diet, stopped complaining, set realistic goals, promised myself to do everything in my power to be really happy, started my health-recovery plan... and joined a health club. Since then, I have been on a fantastic journey of constant learning about diets, workouts, spiritual counselling, yoga, therapeutic manipulation of energy in the body, about the way the mind works, about the intricate connection between our emotions and our mind, and between the emotions and the body; about the human body and how it breaks or get repaired, about how to achieve perfect health and about how to reverse disease.
After my teenage years and many more stories, I lost my health a second time round later in my thirties when I gave birth to my son. I suffered with severe hypo-adrenia (severe burn-out) to a point where my life was threatened. Sadly, all conventional medicine had got to offer was anti-depressants -which I refused as I was simply not depressed and even if I had been, anti-depressants are not really the solution to the root of any problem. The blessing came when a functional medicine expert offered me to address the root of the cause of my exhaustion and of my insomnia by testing me for all the co-factors of neurotransmitter function and stress hormones: by treating the hormonal and neurotransmitter imbalances with healing foods and nutrients; by giving me great advice on how to manage the severe stress of my life at that time ; and by helping me become aware of my emotional struggle I was caught up in, struggle that I wasn't even aware that I was experiencing (my marriage was not making me happy) as I was dealing with it by being in total denial. With a wonderful nutritional therapy and functional medicine treatment based on minerals and adaptogenic herbs that supported neurotransmitter function and adrenal health, as well as a great stress management program that included meditation and yoga, I managed to reverse the problem and to regain my life back!
Today, I can proudly say that I'm in the best shape of my life and that I am fitter than when I was 25.
After trying all the diets in the world... from veganism, to vegetarianism, to high protein, to high fat, and other... I now know exactly what are the secrets to promoting and building optimum health in people's bodies.
Definitely, drugs and no change in your lifestyle will never help any one achieve optimum and long-lasting results.
There is much better out there when it comes to understanding the causes of your diseases and health disorders, and that is called FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE which is what I propose to help you with.

I'm not a nutritionist. I'm not a dietitian. I'm not just a nutritional therapist either. I'm much more than that! My training and experience has been further enriched and strengthened by four different skiills:

1) YOGA: I'm also a yoga expert and thus I have learned to understand the strong connections between the spirit, the mind, and the body. The most precious lesson of my life both as an individual and as a therapist is that we cannot heal from disease by only addressing the physical body. Only changing the diet and exercising (the body) will yield limited results. When the physical body is in a state of dis-ease, we must address what the yogis call the "koshas" or the layers of the human being or else we don't heal permanently or the healing itself is not effective. The koshas are: the body, the mind, the emotions, and the soul. As a yogini myself, I have learned to address all layers of the being with a spiritual approach to health that encompasses listening to my clients' clinical history and pinpointing in that story the areas that need to be observed, addressed, and energized with energy, meditation, forgiveness, acceptance, prayer, self-love, and a positive mind. Through my studies in yoga I have learned that rage and anger weaken the liver; worrying and anxiety weaken the lungs and the teeth; sadness weakens the stomach; stress weakens the heart and the brain;fear weaken the kidneys; love brings back peace and harmony to body & mind; and that laughing reduces stress just like smiles diffuse joy. I know how to discover within your clinical story the emotions that are weakening your health. And more importantly, I know what to do about it and how to counsel you so that you can begin to make positive changes to the problem.

2) SPIRITUALITY (not religion) - I have also learned through a long series of experiences over the years that our relationship to the Divine accelerates and precipitates in unexpected ways the healing of the physical body and of the mind. Today, I'm 100% convinced that a strong connection to Source when it comes to healing from diseases must be envisaged as an essential part of any health program. Most importantly yet, I have learnt something that no other therapist knows: your disease has been chosen carefully by your own soul in order to push you in this life to fulfill a higher mission that the one you think, while here on Earth. Conventional medicine for chronic disease is not evolving and has not more tools other than chemical drugs. We cannot bring life-force and stamina back into a living body with the use of chemicals. The equation just does not work!

4) IDENTIFYING YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL TYPE - I know how to identify your constitutional type by talking to you and by looking at you. I can identify your constitutional type by simply analyzing your physical traits like the tone of your voice, the speed of your speech, the way you walk, the shape of your bones, the type of frame you have, the quality of your skin, etc. No conventional medicine doctor, dietitian, or nutritionist know how to do this, but I do thanks to my knowledge in certain ancient medicines of the East. We are not all created equal and so a one-size-fit-all prescription is not going to work with every single one of you.
