Loved the photos and video from dan. Everything was high quality and when we had issues dan rectified them. It took a few weeks to get the finished product but we were very happy with it and at a very good price. Highly recommended

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
I hired VineTree Media for my wedding. From the very get go Dan was disorganised. I was always the one contacting him, asking him if HE needed any information, such as my address and the wedding venue address as he had never asked. I also had asked him to contact me when he was on the way to my house the morning of the wedding, to which he only did after i contacted him. The day itself was fine and we had no issues, Dan seemed friendly and we even seemed to have bit of banter. This was obviously a façade as I have had nothing but disappointment and lies from him since we parted ways on the night of my wedding. The night of my wedding I was to be handed a USB as it states on their website, this did not happen and instead the photos were on the SD card, which I was fine with taking. Dan said to us that this isn't how he usually does things but we seemed nice so he trusted us with the photos and I told him I would email him the photos, he was fine with this. I also said I would pay him the rest of the photography fee the following day. (which I did at about 5pm) The next morning I received multiple lengthy texts from Dan basically him saying he thought I wasn't going to pay him and he was being very abrupt with what he was saying. Bearing in mind that this was 10:30AM and me and my now husband hadn't even checked out of our hotel room yet. He hadn't even given me a chance to pay him. I told him I would get home, look at the photos (just to make sure they were actually there because as I've stated earlier, he was very disorganised and I didn't fully trust him, which is also why I wanted to take the SD card in the first place). Dan then decided to tell me that he would need the SD card back as he thought it had other peoples things on there! why? there should not be other peoples photos etc. on here, taking up valuable space that you could've been using to take photos at my occasion. On the Saturday night Dan also ran out of space, which I was fine with at the time because I assumed that it was because he had taken lots of photos, but to find out that he had other peoples things on there I am now not impressed with our night being cut short by 30-40 minutes. Anyway, when I got home and opened the photos, I see that I am unable to view them, as these files can't be read on most normal computers (We have been informed this by another tech professional). Dan would've known that we wouldn't have been able to see these photos. He said to me I can convert them or he can do it when he gets the SD card back. To which I posted it and he claims he hasn't received it. Whether this is true or not I do not know. 2 weeks later after posting the package, I texted twice and rang multiple times for updates and what to do next as he was not contacting us at all. Needless to say I was starting to get very angry and upset , I informed Dan that I would be contacting trading standards if I hadn't received my photos within the next week as it had been nearly 2 weeks since our wedding. (I had also asked Dan to send me an email to which I could attach these RAW photos to if the SD card didn't turn up, which he didn't do until after I mentioned trading standards). He claims that me mentioning trading standard was 'threatening behavior' and refused to do anything more for us as he felt it was 'doing us a favour'...us having the photos in a format we could actually view, and that these issues are down to our decisions and our 'stubbornness' which is just plain gaslighting and lies. He also claims that he has been trying to help us get our photos, which is false again because I was the one having to contact him. He will provide lies and excuses and will blame customers for this happening, when upon reading other reviews it seems there is a common theme here of him royally messing up and them blaming the customer. He also doesn't give out contracts, which is funny, considering when I contacted trading standards they informed me that I would need to prove somewhere that he has breached a contract in order for the claim to go any further. So this is just another way he can weasel out of any wrongdoings on his behalf. He also over the phone told me that even if he did get the photos soon it would still take him some time to get them all converted, yet over text states that it would've been done in a matter of days If I hadn't have taken the SD card. Now with what's gone down and how he's spoken to me, saying I'm being 'ridiculous', 'unreasonable' and gaslighting me at any given point, I'm bloody glad I did take the SD card. I will have to get them converted elsewhere and pay to do so as I am not giving him the chance to convert them and then post my photos, he doesn't deserve to see let alone use them, and I do not want to have any contact with him ever again. This has caused me so much stress and anxiety, it's not worth it. I do NOT recommend, if that wasn't clear already. More...

Louisa its a shame you felt this way about my service. But to clarify a few things, it says you get a usb on my website from a minimum of £349 you only paid £200 as i did things at a reduced price for you. I also wouldn't have been able to produce a Usb as you insisted on taking the SD card on the day. I advised you I normally don't do this so if there are any issues i have a copy of the photos in the studio so i can rectify any problems.... You insisted on taking the SD card then and there so this whole situation was caused by your choices as i have repeatedly told you. I also told you on the day i was shooting in raw as if you wanted the photos editing its better in raw to which you agreed. I requested you send me the SD card which you claim to have done but i've still not received it. I don't know what you expect me to do when i don't have the photos from the day because of your choices. In conclusion.... you have a copy of every photo taken on the day in a raw format which I've given you permission to print anywhere. I've fulfilled everything we agreed and your attempt to try and dis-credit my business in this way is although not surprising still a kick in the teeth. You've mentioned my dis-organisation and although i feel like you've simply said this to further try and discredit me as nothing was said until now i've taken that feedback on board and will do better for future customers. Hope you enjoy your photos when you finally view them and also you lied about one more thing... i'm still happy to convert the files for you and you now have my email address like you have done from the start because you received an email quote! Which also doubles as a contract of work by the way as invoiced.......

If I could give no stars I would. Communication with Dan was great, he turned up and took the photos of my grandpa's 90th birthday. He left earlier than planned due to being needed elsewhere with no mention of any refund for time lost. He did manage to send me the photos of the day, thank god. However we bought a photo book as a special memory for my Grandpa, Dan said he sent it and I never received it. I tried to get in touch with him text message, calling, email but no response. He would actively decline my calls. I wasn't wanting much just a photo album my Grandpa could keep, which I'd paid upfront for. 4 months after the event and still no word from Dan and my Grandpa has passed away. So disappointed in this company as I thought Dan was a nice guy. I've paid for my goods and to ignore me completely is so unprofessional. Immediate response initially & after every email afterwards. Very good prices. Looking forward to them being part of my daughter's wedding day.

Dan rang me within a few minutes of me putting my request on & was very nice. He replied to my questions immediately & was very helpful.

Dan was great when we first met him to have a meeting in our home to discuss what we wanted from him on the day and was a pleasure to have him and his colleague at our wedding.

We got married 10th August 2019 and on 12th August he emailed photographs to us.

When we tried to open them we couldn't download them so contacted Dan who wanted us to travel over an hour away to his studio. We said as we were on our honeymoon we were happy to wait for him to bring the photos to us on a memory card.

Dan didn't turn up
He tried to send again and accused me of not knowing how to download from email.
We did try again and still nothing.

He said he would come and see us the following day and didnt turn up. It took us to contact him for him to offer to post out a memory card for an extra £30 telling us that we were causing him problems?!

The memory card did not turn up so he said he would post it him self through our letter box after work late on a saturday night (this is now a month after our wedding)

He didnt turn up and when I chased him he said he was too tired to drive over after a long days work and finishing late.

He wanted to put our photos and video on a public site for us to download but we dont want our private photos on a public site so we were accused of being awkward.

He then posted the memory card that we received but when opening it and clicking on our file with our names on it it was an empty folder.

He again wanted to put our photos and video on a public site and we refused.

The files that wont download are cr2 files. The ones that downloaded ok were jpegs.
Cr2 files are from a Canon camera and unless we pay for software we cannot see them

This morning he said we were a nightmare and he has gone above and beyond and said he will do no more for us. When my husband called him Dan just talked over him saying "don't call me dont call me" before he hung up the phone.

He then messaged to say we have caused him unnecessary trauma and its down to our lack of knowledge. That we didn't agree what photos we wanted (even though we have evidence that we did)

We have no photographs of myself (the bride) from anytime during the morning. The first photograph is when I am stood at the top of the isle.

He has now blocked us.

All we want is the missing photographs from our special day. We paid him on the day, more than he quoted and this is how we have been left. More...

Dan was very easy to work with, highly professional and charismatic with all staff to ensure we get the natural smiles and laughs for the pictures we needed. 10/10
