Cut out/fill rotted ext. door sill & window sills; rust-treat interior corner metal beading, use ‘cover stain’ & repaint; re-silicone round k. sink & shower tray (3 part-days). All work done to a very high standard. Good communication about materials. Last part had to be done under covid-19 social distancing rules diligently carried out. Cheerful and efficient. More...

Q&A

Discuss the client's needs, how they use the space, how they will use the furniture and their way of life. Design furniture/spaces to fit their needs. Design rooms to be "future proof" - make each space flexible so that it can be used in a number of different ways, formally and informally.

A thorough understanding of how contemporary spaces are used, but more importantly how spaces will grow and adapt with their users, is of the utmost importance to good design. Through my University studies of Urban Design and Multifunctional Land Use (MLU) I learnt that adapting or changing the way a space can be used is one of the most important problems that design should solve; achieve this and you future-proof the place. Modern, flexible living spaces are what I create.

Is anything else being changed in the property?
Access to the property/times/dates for the work to go ahead?
How will they use the space/furniture?
What style do they like?
Any particular materials they do or don't like?

All work is completed to the customer's specification and payment is only taken when the job is finished to the customers satisfaction

Creativity & variety - every project is different, every item is different, every client is different.

I like to design and build, work with my hands, work on projects where the work I do will genuinely improve the client's life.

Attention to detail: thorough, meticulous, organised. No matter if your job is big or small, your project will be well planned from start to finish.

Reliablle, trustworthy and responsive (email, WhatsAPP, SMS, etc). Honest, hard working, genuine.

With a wealth of experience and education and never afraid to research, learn something new or ask other professional contacts/tradespeople for guidance.
