Just to clarify a few bits, you haven't booked a deep clean with us as we haven't offered deep clean services in almost 2 years now. We have sent you the list with all the details of the items that we clean. In addition I spoke with the team and they have said that you have advised them to throw some specific items from the property, we haven't taken anything with us. You can easily check them in the bin area inside your property and you will find all the items there. If you do not mind asking, when you visited the property why didn't mention these things to the team? They would definitely have helped you without any issues. Received a call very quickly as soon as I posted on bark. It was the first company to call me but end up being slightly cheeper then the other and I decided to go with them.

However the cleaning was immaculate and I am soo impressed with the oven and the rest of the kitchen. My extractor fan doesn’t work and there was a lot of grease around the oven and hob area. It is now amazing! More...

The customer service of this company was really good. He had explained everything from the beginning. They didn’t charge me for any deposit or anything else beforehand. On the day do the cleaning they came on time and did a fantastic job especially with the lime scaling and carpet cleaning.

We used under1roofco for an end of tenancy full house clean. They were extremely reliable, on time, and brought all their own supplies. They cleaned three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living room , and also steam cleaned the carpets. The oven and fridge were also left spotless. Every inch of the house was cleaned and looked spotless. The house looked like it did when we first moved in five years ago. The team was also extremely helpful And were lovely people. In my opinion, Under One Roof is an unethical and dishonest services provider and should be avoided. I booked them for an "end of tenancy" cleaning service, after I filled in all the details of my job on Bark's website. UOR bid for my job, quoted a service fee for the job, which I accepted.

However, on the day of the job, the cleaning crew arrived, did a quick walk-through and promptly advised me that the person who did the booking underquoted and they will not do the job for less than double the quote that I had accepted. This left me in an extremely difficult position, as I had an obligations to return a professionally cleaned property to my landlord at the end of that day, with no hope of booking an alternative service. I really felt like this was a shakedown to force me to pay them much more than the quoted price and that I was not the first client in this position. The booking agent was of no help and complained that they did not agree with the form that Bark uses to capture the info on jobs and that UOR has not seen the property and cannot give accurate quotes online and yet, they chose to bid for jobs on Bark and not to do site visits before quoting.

After much stress and effort, I managed to make another plan and fortunately I was not forced to use the services of UOR and pay their exorbitant fees. I do not wish this stress and hassle on anyone else in the midst of dealing with moving house. Avoid and do not accept their quotes, which clearly is just a hook to get you committed. More...

Dear Melanie, Thank you for the feedback. Really apologies If you have felt this way. Unfortunately we feel disappointed for your review after all we have done. The real issues was that you didn’t add all the additional requirement of the cleaning when you have submitted your advert on Bark. We were completely unaware that you had a double kitchen with a total of 3 ovens, 2 sets of sinks, and most important you didn't mentioned that your flat has carpets in all rooms, corridors and staircases. You had a 3 hours slot with us with 5 of our cleaners, they have replied to you that they cannot clean everything within the 3 hours as we were not prepared to do all the additional requirements, as we had two other bookings after yours. This has led the team to raise the price as we would have called other teams to help completing the job on time. You have then said that you cannot afford it, therefore we have spend more than 1 hour with yourself trying to call other cleaning companies to come and help you with your issue. We have advised you to also speak with your agency in order to postpone the check out. This was only out of our goodwill as the team could’ve simply left because of the misleading informations from your side. If you had told us the right informations since the beginning this would not have happened at all and your would have had zero issues. On our side we feel very disappointed as after all what we did for you in order to help you out without forcing you anything in return you still reviewed us in a negative way. Under One Roof team

Hi Sandra, We are really sorry that you have felt in this way, Unfortunately there were misleading information from your end and this is why the price have been increased. You haven't told us that in the house there is an additional bathroom and a whole conservatory to be cleaned. Lastly blinds and security grill in roughly 16 windows were not mentioned in the quote. For a three story house with a total of 5 rooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen with dining area and an extra conservatory with a total surface of 2000 sqft we do believe that the price that we gave you reflects the magnitude of job. Again really apologies that we didn't help you with your end of tenancy clean this time and we are really sorry for it. I contacted Under One Roof to clean my property and I was very happy with the work they done. I was on holidays for a while and my house was not that clean, when I saw the work they have done I was very surprised. The house was shinning, I loved how they took care of all the small details. More...

Beware that due to Covid, some letting agents do not let anyone back in the flat afterwards and their guarantee cannot be applied.
After hiring them I was left with the following isues:
Dusty extractors, blinds and picture rails, kitchen floor not mopped.
And the worse is that the carpet was only vacuumed even though I asked and was invoiced for a full carpet cleaning.

Now the work that the team has done overall is not bad, I was very pleased with the oven, the kitchen sink and the bathroom overall. I even gave them a tip because I felt like they worked really hard.
However, I left in a cupboard some cloth/sponges/duster and cleaning products to do the finishing touches myself, sadly they took them without informing me and I had to call them to let them know that I was unhappy with it. They also binned some items which I needed (a towel, a hook) as I was still at the property. The supervisor's answer was that normally there is no one living in the property after their work therefore they took and binned items as they saw fit despite me telling them that I was still living there.

Overall this was a disappointing experience which left a sour note even though they did a great job in some areas, they neglected others. For me this service is worth somewhere between a 2 star out of 5. More...
