Hi, my name is Ann and I am a person-centred counsellor.

I work with clients with low self-esteem so they can increase their self-confidence and start to create the life and relationships they want.

Would you like to stop people pleasing or feeling guilty when you do not do what others want? Do you want to stop feeling like everyone else’s feelings come before yours? Do you feel confused, unloved or insecure in your relationships? Would you like to increase your confidence and feel more able to assert your wants and needs?

Asking for advice from friends and family can often leave you feeling even more confused about your feelings. Sometimes you need a place to discuss them openly and honestly with someone who can listen to how you feel without judgement. Talking to a counsellor will give you the space to examine your feelings and beliefs and explore exactly what it is you want and how you would like to move forward.

I practice in a person-centred way, which means that I will not impress my opinions on you or give advice. I am here simply to help you unravel all of these emotions, in a safe way.

I offer confidential face to face from lovely therpay rooms in Washington and also online and telephone counselling.

I am a qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapy so you can be assured that I practice to high standards and ethics.
